Wreckborn changes
Hi everyone!
I have released another update with fixes and improvements. This time I focused mainly on ship modules, the interface, escorts, and the save system.
Target selection panel
When opening the target selection panel with the H key, markers will no longer cover the interface buttons.
Module fixes
Event Generator
The module now works more efficiently. It affects the number of displayed signals, their density, spawn chance, and reroll time.
It works with both white and colored signals.
Fortress Mode
I completely reworked how this module works because the previous concept did not work well enough.
Now, when a ship’s armor drops below 35%, the module applies a damage-absorbing shield for 30 seconds. After the shield is used, Fortress Mode can activate again after 60 seconds.
This change should be especially useful for escort ships that start retreating after losing part of their armor.
Increased Area of Effect
The module designed for missiles was not working correctly. It now properly adds the increased area of effect to missiles.
White signals
White signals are now shown as a direction near the cursor.
Targeting
I fixed a bug where enemy units could remove the player’s current target.
Buff fix
I fixed an issue with buffs. When a buff ended and the player tried to pick up the same buff again, it was not added back to the buff list, and the buff cloud remained in the world.
Quick save
I added a quick save option.
Ship radial menu
In the ship radial menu, the Unpack option has been replaced with Return to base and unpack.
Technical dock and module upgrading
I rebuilt the technical dock interface and the module upgrade interface.
You can now use a slider to choose how many modules you want to upgrade.
Ship escort panel
I improved the ship escort panel, available from the Tab key and the Escort button.
The panel now shows the escorted ship and allows you to detach the ship from its escort target.
The list of following ships remains unchanged.
Ship behavior after entering it
I fixed a bug where a ship with an assigned escort target did not stop its actions after the player entered it, even though it should have.
The ship now correctly stops its current tasks when the player takes control.
Terrain restoration
I added the ability to restore terrain by holding Shift + Left Mouse Button.
