Thank you very much for all the feedback – it largely defines the future direction of the game’s development.

The most annoying and frequently reported issues have already been fixed in the last three patches. They improved gameplay comfort and also added several really cool features.

Now I would like to give you an overview of some of the changes I plan to introduce in the near future.

Changes to the ship skill system

I plan to completely replace the current skill system with a new, more advanced and clearer solution. In the new system, each ship will gain levels and experience, allowing for individual development and specialization.

Ships will gain experience for the following actions:

  • Flying – the lowest experience gain, mainly for transport ships piloted by survivors

  • Mining ore and collecting scrap

  • Destroying enemy units

Along with the new system, the list of skills, their behavior, and granted bonuses will also change. The currently planned list of ship skills (subject to change):

  • Mining

  • Scrapping

  • Cargo Capacity

  • Accuracy

  • Maneuverability

  • Damage

  • Armor

Additionally, during gameplay it will be possible to acquire several special skills that will further distinguish specific units.

Player passive skills

The player will be able to develop 4 passive skills:

  • Mining

  • Scrapping

  • Repairing

  • Cargo Capacity

Survivor professions and levels

Survivors will receive levels defined by color, which will immediately indicate their potential and role:

  • White – a default survivor, mainly intended for base structure development or as basic ship crew, without additional bonuses

  • Green, Blue, Purple, Orange – survivors with assigned professions and special bonuses

Planned professions:

  • Pilot – bonuses to maneuverability and speed

  • Gunner – increased accuracy and damage

  • Engineer – better repairs and more efficient resource extraction

Ship tiers

While exploring space, it will be possible to discover blueprints of higher-tier ships. Tiers will be marked with colors, similar to survivors, making it easier to quickly identify their quality.

Higher-tier ships:

  • will have better base statistics,

  • will receive additional module slots,

Ship upgrade modules

A module system is planned to be added, allowing modules to be installed on ships. These modules will allow, among other things:

  • increasing damage or armor,

  • improving maneuverability and speed,

  • increasing cargo capacity or mining efficiency,

  • adapting a ship to a specific role (combat, transport, mining).

This is, of course, not everything, but these are some of the key changes I am currently working on. As always – your opinions and suggestions are welcome and have a real impact on the further development of the game.

Thanks for the support and see you in space!
