Howdy Runners,

The ORCA is back in dock, and the Fog is settling...for now.

Our first major playtest for Wreck Runners has now wrapped up, and by the end of it, over 35,000 of you had journeyed into the Triangle to brave the Fog, and haul your salvage home.

From the crews who kept their runs tight and clean, to the ones who barely held it together, thank you for joining the chaos with us. It's been incredible seeing so many of you hop in and play, and your clips, feedback and stories have been invaluable to us as a team.

As discussed in our previous Dev Update - We've got some big plans as we continue development.

Ongoing Plans

  • Add variety and density in content to:

    • Fill the world more

    • Give each run potential for more different experiences

    • Support different strategies and solutions (and failures)

  • Improving combat, both in wrecks and in world

  • Make the upgrades in the store more meaningful and impactful (and varied)

  • Make progression across stages on a run more significant (difficulty levels up and ties into store upgrades above and experience changes ties into other above)

Keep up to date with our progress on our Discord and bear witness to some stunning fan art!

See you soon in the Fog,

-- Disruptive Games
