We're delighted to say that Wreck Runners is taking part in Ocean Fest!

To mark the occasion, we wanted to talk a bit about the ORCA and why it's such a big part of what makes a run in Wreck Runners feel the way it does.

From the start, we never wanted the ORCA to feel just like a vehicle you park outside the action. It's meant to be what your whole crew depends on. The ORCA is your shelter, your workhorse, and your getaway plan.

And it's not just designed to take you across land - Her role is even more important when the job takes you below the surface.

Part of the fun (and the chaos) of the Triangle is that danger is not limited to what's out on the road. Some of it lies underwater, and submerged salvage can be just as valuable, if not more valuable.

That's where the moonpool comes in.

The Moonpool gives the ORCA a direct way to support your underwater salvaging operations. It acts as your crew's main point of access because we couldn't trust Grant not to open the main door and flood the place.

For us, that's what makes the ORCA special. We wanted it to really feel like a shared base that acts as your lifeline in the triangle as opposed to just another tool at your disposal.

For most crews, the Triangle is tough enough above the waves... and it only gets stranger below them.

See you in the Fog, Runners.
