System Performance & Graphics Optimization
This was a major focus this week, significantly improving stability and hardware compatibility.
Resource Optimization: Conducted extensive optimization for textures, audio, and Lumen(lighting) to enhance overall performance.
- Technical StabilizationAdded auto-scaling for UI resolutions and fixed issues with directional lighting and light bloom.
Balance & Difficulty Adjustments
Based on player experience, we refined unfair sections and categorized the difficulty levels.
- Boss/Enemy BalancingSignificantly nerfed the "Sloth" Apostle's HP (150 → 70) and extended fly spawn intervals (45s → 60s) to reduce player fatigue. And adjusted fly movement patterns to prevent them from flying into areas unreachable by the player's attack.
- Difficulty ScalingCategorized anomalies by difficulty level and eased individual trait difficulties. And The "Holy Light" now unlocks later , starting from the second Demon King encounter. Along with this, complex anomalies (such as "Eye" anomalies) that require the Q skill have also been adjusted to appear later in the game.
- Relic & TrashIncreased the drop rate of Relics by 30% and reduced trash spawn frequency for better convenience.
- Combat FixesAdjusted fly movement patterns to prevent them from flying into areas unreachable by the player's attack.
UX/UI & Quality of Life (QoL) Improvements
The onboarding process was heavily reinforced to help new players adapt more quickly.
- Tutorial OverhaulFixed specific anomalies for the first guest to ensure a smoother learning curve. Added arrow guides for the computer and Gacha system.
- Intuitive UIAdded a bottom gauge to display guest check time and introduced a "Glow" effect to the holy light skill icon when activated.
Localization: Continued adding translations for global support.
Content Updates & Bug Fixes
New Mechanics: Implemented a human guest attack mechanic (check time over), along with corresponding dialogue and sound effects.
- AudioAdded dedicated BGMs for Apostles and situational sound effects to increase immersion.
- Bug SquashingFixed off-screen effect ghosting, newspaper text clipping, and physics bugs where corpses or trash would float too high.
