changedThis has been a major journey for me, and it's finally here! This build addresses almost all of the issues previously mentioned by customers, and comes with a ton of new content. As a side effect of this amount of change, no saves from the original will work. If you'd like to play the classic version, check your betas tab for "classic" and you can still play that with your original saves in place.
addedON TO THE NEW UPDATE! Originally codenamed the "hot potato update," this update is MASSIVE—essentially making it a new game. Intended to be done by January 1st, this became more than an update. It became an overhaul to make the game more than just the basic idea that it really was, and what I'd envisioned from the beginning. And that's why I went somewhat dark. I read your feedback and tried to turn as much of it into the game as possible. There'll still be bugs to fix, and I highly recommend joining the Discord link through the game to post what you find. But let's get into features.
changedCOMBATHolding the attack button will now charge a hit, which can damage enemies and harvest materials. Use hammers, sawblade axes, and your shotgun to fight off bandits and angry customers.
addedCRAFTING AND INVENTORYYou asked for a way to hold more than one item, and this is something I wanted from the beginning—but required a unified system for item data. One thing led to another, and you'll now be able to harvest most objects in the game and loot containers for new items. Now you can craft new foods and tools using the crafting table. You can even craft a f***ing shotgun if you want.
addedUpdate List (no specific order because idk)New desert map

ON TO THE NEW UPDATE! Originally codenamed the "hot potato update," this update is MASSIVE—essentially making it a new game. Intended to be done by January 1st, this became more than an update. A WORLD TO EXPLORE

Remember the gas station in the distance, out of bounds? It's explorable, lootable, and dangerous now. Full of old coolers and taken over by bandits, you can find things there. But you'll notice the road is now covered in abandoned vehicles. Be sure to look around those for lootable containers—and watch for bandits.

COMBAT

Holding the attack button will now charge a hit, which can damage enemies and harvest materials. Use hammers, sawblade axes, and your shotgun to fight off bandits and angry customers.

CRAFTING AND INVENTORY

You asked for a way to hold more than one item, and this is something I wanted from the beginning—but required a unified system for item data. One thing led to another, and you'll now be able to harvest most objects in the game and loot containers for new items. Now you can craft new foods and tools using the crafting table. You can even craft a f***ing shotgun if you want.
