- Gameplay
Campfires and torches used to automatically ignite whenever the weather cleared up (torches only at night). Now there must be a character within 2 tiles of the campfire or torch to ignite it again, complete with immersive little game messages and everything. Of course, the player can also light campfires with a flint and steel (or other methods). AI characters don't need flint and steel because fuck you.
Status effect tutorials now repeat themselves in Chapter 2 (poisoned, diseased, etc.). Also added new tutorials in Chapters 3 and 4 for insane, invisible, and infravision status effects.
Mostly still working on Chapter. Added a TON more objects and creatures, including Mountain Bears and Cave Bears, and new furniture for Frostgate Keep.
I will have a Ch.6 alpha up on Patreon this Sunday for sure.
Complete list of changes:
-Campfires no longer auto-ignite themselves in clear weather.
-Mobile AI now lights campfires, torches, etc. at night, and extinguishes them in the day (from 2 paces away).
-Status effect tutorial messages are now repeated in Ch.2, added tutorials for later status effects to Ch.3+4.
-Added a TON more objects, sprites, and tiles for Ch.6.
-Added new animals for Ch.6: Mountain Bear, Cave Bear.
-New small light effect sprite for candelabras.
