What’s better than an Ork? An Ork on fire! Now that you have the fundamentals down, you’re ready to learn more about Status Effects.

Aside from dealing damage, some Warhammer Survivor weapons have in-built additional abilities to leave enemies with temporary status effects, allowing you to chip away at tougher enemy units or deal with an emerging and sudden threat of Bomb Squigs.

In addition to negative, debilitating status effects, there are also those that grant positive effects, such as Healing.

Let's have a look at a few!

BURNING 🔥

Setting enemies alight will inflict fire damage over time, but as panic ensues, the BURNING also hastens the movement speed of enemies.

POISONED 💀

Like the Burning status effect, POISONED inflicts poison damage over time, but slows the enemy down.

FRENZIED 💢

Instilled to some enemies via auras or acquired through picking up items (like Frenzon), FRENZIED increases damage inflicted, overall health pool and movement speeds of all those under the effect of this wild rage.

HEALING 🧪

HEALING gradually regenerates lost health over time – particularly troublesome when enemies have this ability (but also a great boon for Champions low on health).

OILED ⚫

The cross-universe weapon, Nuln Oil, douses foes in black wash, subjecting enemies to a smooth matt finish. If they aren’t destroyed by the initial barrage, afflicted enemies will slow down and become vulnerable to fire damage. As you can imagine, Nuln Oil combos well with weapons that inflict BURNING.

STUNNED 💫

As the name implies, STUNNED temporarily halts movement (but not attacks)!

These are just some of the status effects coming to Warhammer Survivors; discover the full list by playing it when it launches later this year!
