Friends!

Cheating remains an ongoing issue in online games, and Warface is no exception. We continue to actively combat unfair players by improving our anti-cheat systems and strengthening cooperation with customer support. Here are the details.

Protection Systems in Warface

Warface uses several complementary protection systems that effectively detect and block unfair players. The core consists of client-side and server-side anti-cheat.

The client-side anti-cheat functions similarly to antivirus software, preventing third-party processes from interfering with the game. Its main advantage is the ability to quickly update signature databases without requiring client updates. Players with suspicious processes are placed under additional monitoring: if violations are detected, their accounts are blocked for further investigation.

The server-side anti-cheat analyzes events in real time, identifying abnormal combat behavior such as unrealistic hits, excessively fast firing rates, use of incorrect weapons, or headshots registered while aiming at other body parts. It analyzes player positioning, weapon switching, fire rate, and shot timing, allowing it to detect violations.

In rare cases, network delays may cause errors, so suspicious accounts are flagged for additional review, and bans are issued only after confirmation.

In 2026, this area became a priority for us. We are making significant efforts, with special attention to response speed. At the same time, we continue improving anti-cheat autonomy, reducing false positives, and enhancing detection accuracy. New validator versions take into account timing discrepancies between shots and server processing, enabling faster and more precise detection.

What Has Already Been Improved

Over the past months, we have significantly strengthened server-side protection mechanisms. Updated systems are already running on live servers and help detect unfair behavior faster and more accurately:

  • Wall penetration detection. Hit validation through obstacles and player interactions is now analyzed more precisely, allowing suspicious behavior to be identified directly during combat.

  • Headshot and fire rate validation. The system has been reworked to better detect unrealistic values and weapon manipulation attempts. Bypass chances have been significantly reduced.

  • Validator updates and calibration. Improved stability, accuracy, and reduced false positives.

  • Automatic blocking of suspicious registrations. Mass registrations from email domains previously used for bot farms are now automatically blocked.

  • Improved hidden restrictions. Updated sanction mechanics for confirmed violators, reducing encounters for fair players.

  • Closing vulnerabilities and fine-tuning server checks. Dozens of vulnerabilities have been fixed. Specific details are intentionally undisclosed to prevent exploitation.

  • Prevention of Ranked Mode abuse. Fixed exploits allowing players to bypass penalties for intentional losses and early match exits.

  • Monitoring and alerts for mass registrations. Analytics tools and automatic notifications help detect bot activity spikes faster.

These improvements are already live and significantly reduce the effectiveness of common cheating methods. We continue developing new systems to further strengthen fair play.

Upcoming Improvements

In addition to current systems, several major updates are in development:

  • New anti-wallhack module. A dedicated system to prevent seeing enemies through obstacles.

  • Higher entry requirements for Ranked Matches. Planned increase to level 30, with an additional requirement of 10 PvP wins.

  • Stricter penalties for playing with cheaters. Increased punishments for players intentionally teaming with cheaters.

  • CAPTCHA for account registration. Being developed with Astrum Play to prevent automated account creation.

  • Compensation system improvements. Updated rewards and conditions for players affected by cheaters.

  • Report status notifications. Return of updates on report processing both in-game and on the website.

  • Trust and restriction system. Considering a loyalty system and additional restrictions for low-trust players.

  • Hardware cheat detection. Development of methods to detect external cheating devices.

  • Faster response times. Optimization of internal systems for quicker action against violations.

  • Rewards for effective reports. Exploring ways to recognize players whose reports lead to bans.

  • Stricter overall sanctions. Reviewing and strengthening current penalty policies.

Community and Security Collaboration

Fighting cheaters effectively is impossible without community involvement. Players report violations, and security specialists help identify vulnerabilities before they are exploited. Customer support plays a key role in processing reports and responding quickly.

How to Report a Player

We encourage you to report suspicious players and provide as much information as possible: screenshots, videos, and descriptions.

Reports submitted in-game are processed automatically and help the anti-cheat gather data faster. Reports submitted via customer support are reviewed manually and help identify unique cases. Both methods are important and complement each other.

  • Collect evidence. Screenshots, videos, and detailed descriptions help speed up investigations.

  • Submit a report. Go to the Warface support website and fill out the report form.

  • Wait for review. Reports are processed in order and may take some time.

Detailed instructions

Role of Customer Support

Customer support not only processes reports but also analyzes incoming data. This helps identify new vulnerabilities and cheating methods. Specialists actively collaborate with developers, providing up-to-date threat information.

Reports are a crucial tool in combating unfair play. Every report helps improve the anti-cheat system and makes the game better for everyone. That’s why it’s important to stay engaged and report violations.

We continue to actively fight both cheaters and distributors of prohibited software. While violations may seem harmless, they are considered real offenses under the law and can lead to serious consequences. Online anonymity is often an illusion — actions can be tracked and recorded.

We regularly conduct operations against illegal software providers. Through cooperation with authorities, offenders may face criminal liability.

We emphasize: anyone who creates, distributes, or uses malicious tools — whether for unfair advantage or to harm others — risks serious penalties. This does not apply to those who responsibly report vulnerabilities through official programs — their contributions help improve game security.

Conclusion

We will continue to protect fair players and act within the law to maintain a safe and fair игровую среду.

We understand that cheating is a serious issue, and we are committed to doing everything possible to ensure fair gameplay for all players.
