The Bowman - Character Deep Dives

In Wardrum, you command a warband of skilled warriors in their quest to destroy the dark sorcery infecting the lands. In this video, we’re going to deep dive into a few abilities of the Bowman.

removedRazeen Sureshot is highly skilled at removing his foes from the battlefield with his trusty bow, making him a great asset to any Warband that aims to cleanse the land of the powerful dark magic.
changedWith his deadly bow, Razeen can use his Ranged Strike ability to deal physical damage to units at range. This ability involves a hold input during the rhythm stage, imitating a real bowstring drawing before releasing the fatal arrow.
changedRazeen has a tactical ability that he can utilise called Knee Stance . When activated, he takes this turn to get into a Knee Stance position. While in the Knee stance, his attacks will have their range, critical, and damage increased, making Razeen even more lethal on the battlefield, but he won’t be able to move. Cancelling Knee Stance will give 2 move points and apply the Dazed debuff for one turn
changedIf your tactical approach is to sit back and let your enemies come to you, Overwatch will be an important ability in your arsenal. Razeen will cover an area on the battlefield during his turn, and if any enemy enters that area during their turn, he will get the opportunity to strike them down with his bow.
changedIf you are getting overwhelmed on the battlefield with numerous enemies, Quick Shots can help turn the tide of battle. Razeen will be able to target between 1 and 3 targets and rain fire on them with his bow, with the potential of serious critical damage.
changedThe Stone Arrows ability allows Razeen to apply a tactical debuff to his target, as well as deal damage. Depending on your input choice during the rhythm stage, it can either apply Confused or Slowed to your foe, so choose the debuff which would be most effective in the combat situation to make the most of this ability.

One of Razeen's late-game abilities is Volley of Arrows, where he will fire an X-shaped area of effect shot that deals physical damage to any enemy units caught in the target location. If one of those targets was already marked, it removes the Mark and inflicts Slow for one turn.

That was just a quick overview of some of the abilities the Bowman can unlock. They are a great ranged damage-dealing unit for your warband to help progress through the deadly biomes of the game in their quest to destroy the dark sorcery infecting the lands
