Wardrummers
We've been hard at work since launching Wardrum last week, working on our first patch for the game, and we have you to thank for it! You've been a great help in helping us find and resolve bugs, provided great feedback and suggestions, and we're ready to let you try out what we've been working on!
Patch Notes
Hand of God blinding flash animation transition bug fixed.
Fix LB/RB being wrong way around on units page.
Fix an the error when hovering on the Rattled debuff that is on an enemy.
Assassin Prowess 1 fixed.
Zealot chanting interruption animation reset bug fixed.
Fix Rhythm Chain abilities with healing/buffing stones that are not marked as self-targeting, being able to target self.
Game-over text not fitting on one line in some locales is now sorted.
Item uses remaining text bug on some locales fixed.
Fixed Triplets challenge 2 event descriptions containing placeholder text.
Fixed item ability info box header overlap on some locales.
Fixed goblin guardian animation transition bug, where (for example) after movement, he stalled for a bit before going back to idle animation.
Fixed a bug with the non-pixel font system initialisation, causing some text elements to use the wrong font (without dark underline shadow on them). The drop-shadow amount also increased on readable fonts.
Fixed spirit shaman prowess 2 (2 stacks of favour at the start of battle) not working correctly.
Fixed health buffs gained from events working incorrectly in battle.
Fixed crit text flashing with a Rhythm Chain that heals and buffs.
Wait after player healing abilities reduced from 1s -> 0.67s to make them end sooner
Minor optimisations to the ability info UI and switching between hovering movement and normal ability info.
Made the missing unit from the sandstorm event always appear in the next battle in a cage.
Previously, this was random between the next battle and the one after
Tweak regarding Burrower - very rare occurrence, the Burrower, in certain circumstances, caused a softlock. Now fixed.
Rhythm Forge soft-lock fixed when you have all melee characters dead (drummer, barbarian, warrior) and you have the bowman alive.
Previously, you could still forge a melee chain in this situation, which would then start the melee chain equip tutorial, which the player can't complete
Now the event should only give you a ranged chain if all melee characters are dead and only the bowman (and rhythmcaster alive/dead) is alive.
If only rhythmcaster is alive, a melee chain will be given, but the tutorial can be exited like before.
Crystal mage blast ability made to deal 75% of the target's max HP as base, and no extra modifiers on top & criticals have been prevented.
It's still using the "defenders" defence factor, so it could be less than 75% for high-resilience units.
Balance
Some very difficult battles have been updated in all biomes
Wardrummer
Has new particle effects on rhythm of power, rhythm of stone & heart beat
Rhythm of weakness has new pfx / light effects
Delay has been reduced when the camera zooms back out from the rhythm phase for all buffs and heals from 1s->0.67s
Attack description panel disabled, font made smaller
