And here we are in May. At Tiny Potion Tree, we never stop.

This month has been all about gathering the feedback we have received, improving systems, adjusting content, creating new assets, and continuing to shape our beloved Wandersky.

Let’s take a look at what we have been working on over the past few weeks.

Content & Pacing

  • We've been working on closing the first loop of the game, to test the pacing and the quest system

  • We completed the bow rework.

  • We simplified some maps to improve the overall game flow.

Environment & VFX improvements

  • We worked on assets for our last biome: the Nest.

  • We prepared new 3D models for:

    • Sky Doors Lights.

    • Gathering spots.

    • A special element related to the Teleport ability.

  • Importante: hemos trabajado en nuevos assets para el rework del cielo. Podemos dar una pista en plan… “son miniaturas” o algo así.

New enemies

  • We finished and polished several [UNNAMED ENEMIES].

  • We adjusted their behaviours, abilities, and combat presence.

Animation

  • We continued working on skinning The Priest, to prepare it for animation, one of the characters currently in development.

  • We finished the animation for paralyzed Kuu. You can imagine why would be using it?

What is coming?

After reaching 5K wishlists, taking part in the Earth Appreciation Festival, and sharing a pre-alpha version with press and creators, we already have our next stop: Tiny Potion Tree will be at Castilla y León Gaming Show.

This physical event will take place in Zamora on June 6th and 7th, and we will be in the indie area alongside several Spanish studios. Visitors will be able to try the Wandersky Pre-Alpha, which includes the first part of the game and the fight against the first boss.

Keep an eye on our social media, as we will be sharing content from the event.

The next Dev Update will be published on Friday, June 27th, where we will continue sharing the project’s progress and any exciting news we have along the way.

As always, thank you for following the development of Wandersky!! See you up in the skies!!🏹☁️
