Large round of improvements focused on combat clarity, smoother UI, better map flow, and a more intuitive respawn experience.
🔥 New Feature — Map-Based Respawn Selection
Players can now choose their respawn location directly from the map after death, allowing for faster and more strategic redeploys.
Added new map UI elements to support selecting and highlighting available respawn points.
This makes respawning faster, clearer, and more strategic.
🏠 Respawn System Updates
Houses now function as team respawn points in addition to reducing respawn time by 1 second.
Stone Wall Towers continue to act as respawn points as before.
Each team now starts with one House pre‑spawned at their base to prevent early elimination if all players fall before building their first structure.
⚔️ Combat & Gameplay Improvements
Player base HP increased by 400 (~20% increase), giving players more room for clutch parries, evades, and consumable usage.
Fire DoT damage significantly reduced (~50%) to make fire less oppressive while still rewarding players who stack multiple fire hits before the burn expires.
NPC damage greatly increased — they attack slowly and predictably, but missing a parry now has real consequences.
Frost weapon swing trail duration increased for more satisfying icy visuals.
Fireballs with the final upgrade now leave permanent scorch marks and burn away foliage at the impact zone.
🏹 Weapons & Items
Basic starter weapons no longer drop on player death to reduce battlefield clutter.
Players can still intentionally drop basic weapons via drag‑and‑drop (remains for 15 seconds).
Good, Legendary, and Consumables still drop normally on death.
🌍 Map & Objective Adjustments
Dominion (central flag) win timer increased to 10 minutes, giving teams more time to mount counterattacks.
Golden Shore: central flag repositioned closer to mid-map for more consistent travel times and pacing across all maps.
Wall construction mode now snaps more reliably to the end of previously placed walls.
Building a stone wall off a wood wall now correctly aligns based on the player’s rotation and pointing direction.
🎯 Visual & Audio Improvements
Sunset lighting toned down to remove harsh brightness during combat.
Fixed a rare healthbar jitter during hit animations for smoother readability.
Mage Staff Shift+Mouse1 'dash attack'now correctly plays its hit sound when striking NPCs.
🛠️ UI & UX Fixes
Infrastructure building interaction widgets now close automatically when the player steps away.
Fixed rare cases where the build wheel could get stuck when interacting with infrastructure UI.
Improved map UI responsiveness for selecting respawn points.
💥 Physics & Projectile Fixes
Cannonballs now behave correctly when rolling into or through water.
Fixed rare cases where tower arrows could get stuck floating in the air.
🏗️ General Stability & Polish
Numerous small improvements across construction, combat readability, and environmental interactions to make the overall experience smoother and more consistent.
Public playtest is coming soon — stay tuned for the date announcement!
