WallBrawl – Patch Notes (1.15.78)

⚔️ Combat & Talents Veteran Infantry (New Barracks Talent) Vanguard players now respawn with improved Plate armor. Veteran Marksman (New Range Talent) Ranger players now respawn with improved Leather armor.

  • Removed the old “chance to duplicate attacks” effect.

  • Now grants 50% increased sword damage against enemies currently in a Vulnerable state.

  • Chaos Rune (Mystic Tower Talent) Bug Fix

  • Fixed an issue where Chaos Rune granted 1500% crit chance instead of the intended 15%.

  • Desperate Parry (Ranged Weapon Talent) Adjustment

  • Energy cost reduced from 40 → 30 to make ranged parries more accessible and reactive.

  • Fireball Parry/Block Direction Fix

  • Fixed an issue where Fireballs could incorrectly register as hitting a target from behind, causing what should have been a successful parry or block to instead count as a hit. (For clarity: parries require the defender to be facing the incoming attack. This fix ensures Fireball direction checks behave consistently.)

  • Evade/Dash Improvements

  • Evade movement is now more responsive and can be aimed more freely using mouse turning.

  • Evade‑into‑melee attack combos now also respect mouse turning for better directional control.

  • Ranged Dash Attack (New Feature)

  • Ranged weapons — Bow, Musket, and Staff — can now perform a Dash + Attack. Previously, only melee weapons supported dash‑attacking.

🧙 Caster Armor – Devouring Cloak Rework

Shades Behavior Updated

  • Removed the rapid-damage attack from summoned Shades.

  • Shades now drain Energy and Mana when near a living target.

  • Shades no longer deal damage if destroyed before successfully leeching power.

  • After absorbing enough power, a Shade will spawn a new Shade.

  • Redwood Fortress

  • Removed from the active map pool.

  • Twin Scar

  • Added several new pathways up and down cliff areas to improve flow and flanking options.

🏆 Game Modes & Victory Conditions

  • Dominion Victory Condition Update

  • Dominion points no longer reset when a team loses control of the central flag.

  • Each team now accumulates their own control time independently.

  • First team to reach 5 minutes of total control wins the match.

  • Updated Dominion UI to reflect the new tracking system.

  • Conquest Overtime Fix

  • Fixed an issue where a team could incorrectly be awarded a Conquest win during the post‑match countdown.

👁️ Spectating

  • Fixed an issue preventing players from spectating after their team was eliminated.

🧱 Networking & Performance

  • Updated WallBrick replication and networking logic to reduce server lag.

🛠️ General Fixes

  • Match Exit / Lobby Creation Fix

  • Fixed a bug where exiting a match could cause the creation of a new lobby to fail.
