Hi everyone,
Development on Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior is moving forward steadily, and we’re excited to share a new gameplay-focused update — along with a big milestone for the project.
New Gameplay Systems
Over the past weeks, we’ve been working on several new mechanics designed to deepen exploration, progression, and challenge:
A new exploration- and lore-focused ability, allowing players to interact with echoes of the past and unlock hidden paths
Enemy wave arenas, where survival and positioning are key to earning rewards
Custom map markers, letting players mark points of interest using predefined symbols
Secret breakable walls, revealing hidden rooms and alternate routes
Health and Proton Energy recharge points, separate from save stations, adding more strategic options
