NEW CONTENT:
* In-game map now has new images with much higher resolution: Terrain changes that were done after the original map images was made long ago will now be visible. The higher resolution also renders all small rivers, streams and roads visible. Hills and mountains are now much better represented, as well as more varied terrain colors that better represent the terrains, including darker areas in dense jungle or forest areas.
* New rare custom main weapon: The armorers are still modifying the blow forward action, but currently it is very powerful for short range engagements yet quite heavy and very unreliable. It can sometimes be found at S.F. camps and if you’re lucky at the local armorer. Be ready to switch weapon when it inevitably jams.
* American civilian cars are being imported to South Vietnam in substantial numbers. They can now also be entered by player in S.E. Asia.
* Gas stations: An oil company from the U.S.A. has entered the retail fuel market of South Vietnam and bought up and rebuilt the existing gas stations. There has also been new ones constructed along the main coastal highway. V.C. player gets a bonus for destroying fuel pumps and the main building. It is still uncertain if Petrolia Oil Company will consolidate and enter the market at a later stage to take on the competition.
* Danang AB now have some signs with map of the base.
GAMEPLAY ADJUSTMENTS:
* Squad spawns will now be hard capped more effectively. The cap is affected by the 10% to 400% unit settings option.
* Danang city now has more U.S. forces defending it now (it might need more though).
BUG FIXES:
* An issue with player's damage direction indicator (the red quarter circle) sometimes showing the wrong direction for bullet hits is now fixed. It was an issue since recent update that made it stay on longer and update the direction while player moves.
* U.S. soldiers can now also take rain poncho off again when the weather clears up (a line in code was missing, oopsie).
* In the 4 standard armory types you now get M1Garand at the cabinet holding them, as intended instead of M14.
* Fix to code preventing destroyed models for PT76, BTR60 and Tuctucs (that was added in last Update39) from spawning.
* Close map icon no longer have wrong color scheme.
* Bug fix for special situation where NPCs and in rare cases even player bullets could get tracer/proximity fuse on bullets (due to ammo pool issue).
* 2 Terrains in North Vietnam missing trees and contours and 1 in Thailand that was missing grass have now been fixed.
* XM148 grenade and MAS36 and MAS49 rifle grenade reload cancel should now finally work for all cases, so animation doesn't get stuck in wrong place.
