changedThe StashMaybe you were curious about that chest the Transient Merchant was guarding. Now access is granted! With the Stash, you can store equipment during a run. If you die, the item is saved there to be retrieved by another character on your next attempt.
changedThe StashNow, playing with Aaron (yes, he's already available!) , you can, for example, store rare quivers to pick up later with Elias.

Prepare for the dangerous synergy of the Ghoul family, the brutal Orcs , and ghosts that turn invisible when you least expect it. If you are persistent (or foolish) enough to reach the bottom of the dungeon, you might even bump into a massive minotaur charging at you with full force.

๐Ÿ‘‹ Hello, unfortunate explorer!

Today is the big day: the official launch of Unwanted Dungeon! I would like to welcome you to this new misadventure, both to you, a veteran who has already braved our demo, and to you, a first-time explorer who is just arriving.

To prepare you for what's to come, I've put together the main highlights of what awaits you in the full version:

๐Ÿ’€ Four floors, fifty rooms, and five bosses

Floors and rooms

You will revisit Floor 1 and encounter the dreaded Morcerathus and his pests again. But that's just the beginning! The full version takes you to the true depths of the dungeon. The game now consists of 4 floors, each with 10 rooms and secret content. And of course, each floor is guarded by an unexpected boss.

Bosses

Get ready to face the treacherous brothers in the Insidious Passage; Grimar, the Putrid, in the Forgotten Catacombs; and the dreaded Balgor, the Merciless, in the Maze of Fury. Plus, of course, the grand final boss waiting for you at the very bottom. Are you ready to clash with the traitor mage?

๐Ÿ”ฎ Metaprogression, the Stash, and new Entrances

Magic crystals

The time has come to put the magic crystals you obtained during your runs to use! Take them to the village forge, where George, the Blacksmith, will help you unlock various permanent upgrades for all your characters, in the best and most punishing roguelite style.

The Stash

Maybe you were curious about that chest the Transient Merchant was guarding. Now access is granted! With the Stash, you can store equipment during a run. If you die, the item is saved there to be retrieved by another character on your next attempt.

  • Now, playing with Aaron (yes, he's already available!), you can, for example, store rare quivers to pick up later with Elias.

Entrances

Heavily inspired by Diablo 1, where you unlock shortcuts so you don't have to redo everything, in Unwanted Dungeon you will be able to find the hidden paths in the caves and the ancient elevator in the abandoned mine. They allow you to start the game directly on deeper floors!

  • Talk to Elias and George in the village, they have valuable tips on how to find these passages.

๐Ÿน Characters and Monsters

Characters

In the final version, you will finally be able to reach Mastery Level 10 with each hero, unleashing their full combat capabilities and reaching the fateful level 40 (oops, spoiler!).

Monsters

Access to floors 2, 3, and 4 brings brand-new and quite unpleasant creatures. They have unique mechanics that will force you to rethink your builds. Prepare for the dangerous synergy of the Ghoul family, the brutal Orcs, and ghosts that turn invisible when you least expect it. If you are persistent (or foolish) enough to reach the bottom of the dungeon, you might even bump into a massive minotaur charging at you with full force.

๐Ÿ’ New equipment and a sea of builds

Exploring the deeper floors, you will have access to 140 new pieces of equipment that weren't in the demo! There are Uncommon, Rare, and Relic items, plus 20 new treasures (and their rarity variations) that offer unique abilities, covering class weaknesses and creating absurd combos.

  • How about testing Elias with Arrow Rain + Magic Bag?

  • Or Rebecca as an untouchable tank using Nullification Monolith + Spiked Armor?

  • Or making Aaron clear the screen by investing in Swiftness + Projectile Qty + Hail? The possibilities are in your hands.

๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ Conquer the Dungeon

I won't lie, it's a tough path. The first few levels and discoveries might seem impossible to overcome, but don't get discouraged. By using the new entrances, devising purchasing strategies with the Ineffable, and, most importantly, using the Stash and the crystals to your advantage, you will be able to discover Abadiel's whereabouts and (who knows) extinguish the evil plaguing Corvalia!

๐Ÿš€ What's ahead? (The Future of the Game)

Today's launch is a huge milestone, but the work doesn't stop here. As you might have already guessed, new characters are on the way! Characters like Andreas, the Faunomancer, and Elisha, the Occultist, are already warming up to enter the dungeon in future updates very soon.

In addition, I will be keeping a close eye on your feedback and the community's here on Steam. Indie launches are made together with players like you, so I will continue working on balancing, bug fixes, and planning new surprises to keep the dungeon challenging and increasingly unwanted.

Thank you so much for playing the demo, leaving your feedback, and supporting the project so far. I wish you a terrible and painful (yet very fun) stay in the dungeon!

See you at the bottom of the dungeon ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
