Unwanted Dungeon changes
🍃 You feel the air vibrate around you. The leaves dance in the wind, the birds sing their spiritual courtship, and nature itself awakens. Then, a howl echoes through the dungeon...
Andreas, the Faunomancer, has arrived to help Corvalia in her revenge against the traitorous mage.
Introducing the new character
Andreas, the Faunomancer, is the new playable character in Unwanted Dungeon's 1.4 update, specializing in summons and tanking.
Guardian of the fauna and spiritualist of nature, Andreas channels the force of the wild world to summon beasts that fight by his side. If you've always dreamed of playing as a true summoner in a survivors-like game, your time has come.
Mechanics
With Andreas on the battlefield, your way of playing changes completely.
His summons are capable of attracting the attention of monsters, protecting you from enemy attacks. Each creature has its own Health and Defense, but these attributes are based directly on yours.
In other words: the tougher Andreas is, the tankier your beasts will be as well.
Playing with Andreas, you can finally chase the legendary Holy Grail of survivors-like games: standing still while your allies do all the work 🤩
Yes, your summons attack, protect, and eliminate enemies for you.
But it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Someone still needs to open chests, collect equipment, and explore the deepest floors of the dungeon. Will you abandon your beasts to seek rewards, or will you stay protected behind your wild army?
Main attributes:
Max Health: directly increases the survivability of your summons
Defense: your creatures inherit your defensive attributes
Quickness: better than summoning one beast is summoning two at the same time!
Secondary attributes:
Concentration: increases the duration of certain summons
Projectile Amount: increases the attack frequency and the number of creatures generated by some skills
Skills
Steam post image Crow: Summons a crow that attacks the nearest enemy. Upon returning to Andreas, the skill has its cooldown completely restored. Evolutions allow you to summon multiple crows and unleash AoE damage
Steam post image Lupine Spirit: Summons a wolf that attacks nearby targets and draws all enemy attention to itself! Choose between damage or resistance-focused evolutions to shape your ideal companion (it's not pleasant to be lonely in a dungeon)
Steam post image Poisonous Spore: Infects enemies with a natural plague that deals damage based on the target's Max Health. Slain enemies spread the infection to other adversaries, creating a potentially infinite chain reaction. The spores also create toxic mushrooms!
Steam post image Tree: Performs the miracle of growing roots in the soil of a cursed dungeon! Besides protecting Andreas, the tree provides healing, shields, and even summons immortal Ents to chase enemies
Steam post image Spiritual Procession: Summons a true procession of nature: a sentinel eagle, a devastating frog, an immortal turtle, a trampling boar, and a wild bear that attracts enemies while crushing everything around it
Steam post image Jataí Swarm: Summons a living hive capable of producing an army of immortal bees. Meanwhile, rivers of viscous honey spread across the dungeon, trapping enemies and turning the battlefield into a giant trap
Steam post image Boitatá: Andreas takes the form of the legendary Boitatá, the flaming snake, and crosses the screen at an absurd speed. The more fruits it consumes, the larger it becomes. Sounds familiar? The difference is that this snake is immortal, tramples foes, and explodes everything in its path
Unlock Mission
Andreas is, by default, a locked character. Before convincing him to fight alongside Corvalia, you will need to prove that you also respect the creatures of nature.
SPOILER
Five wolves are imprisoned deep within the dungeon
Two were seen on the first floor
Another two were found on the second
And rumors indicate that the last one remains trapped somewhere on the third floor
Free them all and Andreas will be eternally grateful to you!
Important for players with old saves:
Do not use intermediate entrances. The journey must begin on the first floor and the five wolves must be freed in the exact same sequence. Avoid shop rooms and half-open doors during the attempt.

Conclusion
This was a massive update full of content!
Unwanted Dungeon is constantly evolving. The new character Andreas is just one of the new characters planned for the game, we will still have more!
The next updates aim to extend the adventure in the unwanted dungeon after the first completion of the game, add new characters, and also implement the bestiary into the game itself.
That's it, explorers! We will meet in the deepest floors of the dungeon, and who knows, maybe we will find new souls wandering there...
