✨ Highlights and Core Systems

  • Ineffable NPC Completely Overhauled: The NPC has undergone a complete change! 🧙‍♂️

  • Before: Purchase of up to 8 attributes.

  • Now: Only 2 powerups appear and you must choose only 1. Benefits now include permanent or temporary changes to your gameplay.

The benefits may contain attributes, but also permanent or temporary gameplay improvements and changes.

  • Potions! 🧪 Now you will find potions during your runs to help with survival! NOTE: the game's idea is to bring innovative aspects to the gameplay, so potions, unlike the traditional way, do not heal! They have various effects on your equipment and other alchemies that will change your game strategy!

⚔️ Combat Updates

  • Enemies no longer pass through walls: Monsters now have the intelligence to navigate around walls and obstacles instead of passing through them. We still have flying and ghostly enemies that can pass through obstacles. 👻 NOTE: The game has become harder because of this!

  • Elias, the HunterRemoved the manual aim option. The archer is now 100% focused on auto-attacking. This change accompanies the new skill tree, allowing you to focus entirely on positioning and the strategy of the new Mastery mechanics. 🏹

⚖️ Balance and Content

  • Equipment Overhaul: 💍

  • Rings, Necklaces, and Runes have all been revised! Most were removed and others added.

  • Items have had their bonuses standardized by rarity to be fairer.

  • Also added exclusive items that can only be obtained via monster drops or only in the shop.

  • Health Bar: Elite monsters and bosses now have visible health bars. 🩸

  • New Attribute Limits (Caps): To maintain balance, the following attributes now have maximum values:

  • Cooldown Reduction: 80%

  • Execution: 20%

  • Shrinkage: 55%

  • Movement Speed: 5

  • Attribute Adjustments:

  • Gold Gain: Now grants a flat value instead of a percentage. 💰

  • Defense: Has become a rare attribute (focused on future meta-progression). 🛡️

  • Critical DamageNew attribute added to the game. 💥

🎨 Visuals and Quality of Life (QoL)

  • Enhanced EnvironmentAdded dynamic lighting, shadows, particles, and "dirt" textures to make the scenery much more immersive. 🕯️
  • Visual FeedbackNew silhouette shader on items and enemies to make combat reading easier.
  • Navigation Interface: We replaced the "Floor/Level" text with a clear timeline marker, showing your journey to the boss (10 levels). 🚩

  • Inventory Highlight: When hovering over an item, the slot where it can be equipped will light up (Thanks for the feedback!).

  • Curse ColorsWe improved the visual distinction on Fate Cards so you know exactly what is a Bonus (positive), Malice (negative), or Neutral. 🃏
  • Loot & Drop Lock NotificationA clear on-screen message is now displayed when loots and drops are disabled. This system already existed to prevent infinite farming, but is now properly communicated to the player.
  • Emergency Exit GatesWhen loot and drops are disabled, the stage gates will now automatically open, allowing the player to leave and proceed to the next floor if desired. This was added to prevent rare soft-lock situations.

🛠️ Minor Adjustments and Fixes

  • Increased enemy spawn for greater dynamism.

  • Improved general performance and frame optimization. ⚡

  • Adjusted the volume of sounds that did not respect the settings. 🔊

  • New end-of-run screen displaying your points obtained with Mastery and Magic Crystals (future meta-progression currency). 💎
