Repeated intro
Hello everyone, welcome to our first devlog. It's been more than a month since the conclusion of our Kickstarter campaign. We want to share with you what we have been working on.
What changed
- Gameplay
- Balance
- Performance
First of all, about the backer survey. Apologies for the delay. Please allow us a bit more time to set up the survey. As this is our first Kickstarter campaign, we are still navigating the process. Once we are ready, we will start sending the survey.
Next, let us show you what we have been working on. Please note that these designs are all works in progress and can change in the future.
Our concept art team has been making cool new enemies and basebuilding concepts. Right now, we are working on two new bosses. One for the Shopping Mall area and one for the Subway area.
Subway Area Boss
The Subway area's boss is a blind entity. It uses Noise generated by the player to detect. It can also use the siren on its head for echolocation to pinpoint the player's position. It uses sonic attack to disorient and chainsaw and drill-like weapons to damage the player. Any tactics that can disable electronics will help fight this boss.
Shopping Mall Area Boss
Shopping Mall is another overground major landmark area similar to the Hospital and the Police Station. The boss in this area can only use Sight and Smell signals generated by players to detect. Jibaro and Silent Hill Nurse are huge inspirations for the design.
Basebuilding
We have already shown models of the main basebuilding pieces. Those were LV2 variants of the models. Right now, we are working on LV1 variants. LV2 has the metal theme, LV1 will have the wood theme. We plan to add more variants in the future.

Optimization
As a project gets bigger, optimization can become messier and harder. We want to focus on optimization early, set up a standard within the team. The Level Design and Programming team has been busy with that. Once they resume their gameplay and level design work, we will be able to show new areas and gameplay in the next devlog.
Thank you for reading our very first, albeit short devlog. I will try to share more content in the next devlog. Thank you again for your support! See you on the next devlog!
