Unbowed changes
This last month has been busy. Unbowed recently underwent its first official playtest, resulting in valuable feedback that helped shape several recent improvements across the demo.
Recent additions and improvements include:
A fully functional level-up system with capstone skills • Expanded status and progression menus • Improved dodge responsiveness and combat feedback • New sound design and visual polish • Continued environmental storytelling and lighting passes • Additional balancing and bug fixing throughout the demo
The demo is currently planned for release later this week and will launch alongside a brand new trailer focused specifically on the demo and its gameplay.
The upcoming demo introduces players to Dead Man’s Rest and the Smuggler’s Caverns, a dark coastal dungeon filled with ambushes, hidden paths, and the growing influence of eldritch corruption. Players will be able to experiment with multiple classes, progression systems, and the first major boss encounter in Unbowed.
