addedThe order in which you play cards and which monsters you pair them with will matter even more! New System: “Combo Skills” Combo Skills are powerful abilities you can activate depending on how many combos you’ve built up. Chances to use them are limited, but the payoff is huge—making battles far more intense and exciting. Some enemies and bosses can use Combo Skills as well, but you can prevent them by typing the opponent’s Combo Skill input. This means you’ll sometimes need to type things other than the cards in your hand, evolving battles into a deeper, more tactical back-and-forth.

Overlay Cards can:

  • Boost stats

  • Grant/strengthen monster-specific skills

The order in which you play cards and which monsters you pair them with will matter even more! New System: “Combo Skills” Combo Skills are powerful abilities you can activate depending on how many combos you’ve built up. Chances to use them are limited, but the payoff is huge—making battles far more intense and exciting. Some enemies and bosses can use Combo Skills as well, but you can prevent them by typing the opponent’s Combo Skill input. Features:

  • Added 15 Overlay Cards.

  • Added 7 Monster Skills.

  • Added 2 Items.

  • Added a Shop tile.

  • Added Combo Skills.

  • Added Curse Cards.

  • Added a mechanic where cards can be destroyed (exhausted).

  • Added a mechanic for monsters to receive status ailments.

Balance Adjustments:

  • Adjusted the Destination tile difficulty to be easier.

  • Adjusted the Fierce Battle tile difficulty to be harder.

  • Changed the Defense formula from a flat value to a percentage-based calculation.

  • Rebalanced various monsters.

  • Adjusted enemies to use Combo Skills in Fierce Battle and Destination tiles.

  • Increased the effect amounts of stat-boosting relics.

Other:

  • Changed the Supply tile icon.

  • Adjusted monsters to transition into attacks more readily.

  • Adjusted animation speed to scale with a monster’s attack speed.

  • Various UI adjustments.

  • Various text adjustments.

  • Added new sound effects.

  • Added an option to lock the details view by clicking a card in the deck-building screen.

  • Improved clarity of monster stat increases from relics, etc. on the deck-building screen.

  • Adjusted the typing input field to resize dynamically.
