We're overwhelmed with your warm reception of Track Day, and we're very grateful for it! Thank you!
While we’re getting ready to show you more footage from the game, we'd like to give you a glimpse of our preparations for creating tracks for Track Day.
The first location to be released with the future demo version of Track Day will be Tor Poznań. It's the biggest and most renowned race track in Poland, opened in the 1970s and destined for hosting F1 races (which, sadly, never happened).
While we already have the main layouts of Tor Poznań (full course and karting track) ready, we still need to fill it with highly detailed areas inside the track.
These will be used for exploring, test driving, and racing, naturally. Technical roads and squares are perfect for creating a wide range of technical point-to-point routes for fierce amateur competition. Below you can see some of our reference shots for artists, captured during a recent event called SuperOES.
As you can see, the heart of Tor Poznań consists of lots of trees, open spaces, and a mixture of diverse roads, paved with asphalt or gravel and other loose surfaces. We believe it’s a lovely environment and has great potential for designing highly entertaining and challenging routes. There is also lots of space for hiding some collectibles or other secrets.
