Patch Notes - 0.7 "Impact"

Features

  • NEW Cataclysm+ difficulty

    • This should nicely fill the rather large gap between Cataclysm and Apocalypse.

  • NEW Ability to hide cards

    • If you don't care about a specific card, mark it as hidden and it'll only show back up if you activate the new "show hidden cards" filter.

  • NEW Option to start with an empty deck

    • The starter cards will be in your collection but not your deck. Some players prefer taking every card out initially and building back up, so now they have this shortcut available.

  • NEW Boss warnings

    • When hovering cards or Modules considered "dangerous" for a certian boss, the boss will show a red warning highlight to remind you to maybe check its effect.

  • NEW Danger highlights

    • When choosing enemies, cards or Modules considered "dangerous" show a warning to allow you to see at a glance if your build might struggle against a certain enemy.

  • NEW Bespoke impact particles

    • While we previously only had damage impact visuals, we now have individual effects for all "projectile" hits (damage, heal, shield, infection).

Maintenance

  • Tons of adjustments and tweaks to particle sizing and placement for different screen sizes

  • Massive performance improvements, especially for late-game situations of "infinite" projectiles

  • Continued tweaks to UI panel sizes and placements to prevent overlaps and edge cases

  • Big revision of the German localization with lots of fixed typos and wording improvements

  • As usual, a myriad of small bug fixes and tweaks all around

In other news, we're part of Steam Cyberpunk Fest (I mean, if a robot with a mohawk isn't cyber-punk, I don't know what is). So once again, thank you for every single wishlist, follow, message on our Discord. Every little bit makes a difference as we pour our hearts into this game on the road to release! ♥️

All the best, Fabian
