IT'S HYPE TIME! 🤖🖨️👽
The first official demo of Topdeck Automat is available now!
Thank you, playtesters! ♥️
Thanks to heavy internal as well as public playtesting and lively discussions on our Discord, the game saw huge improvements throughout the past few months, including:
a complete overhaul of the combat UI
tons of visual improvements and "juice"
an entirely new "Apocalypse" difficulty
performance improvements
balancing, balancing, balancing
Demo Update
With this update, the playtest will come to an end, but find its next iteration in the official demo release! Highlights of this update include lots of new artwork, a helpful combat log, a post-victory build check, as well as a shiny new character: the crit-focused Engineer A.C.E. 👷
Patch Notes - 0.63 "Demo-lition"
Gameplay
new character: Engineer A.C.E.
added optional "performance test"after winning a run against a stat-counting target dummy
Storm Damage increments per tick now increase over time
Cunning Plan: Load 2 -> 1 | gained Consume
Practice Punch: gained Tech
Arachaha: now deals extra damage equal to Infection on you
All-around tweaks to Enemy stats
Quality of Life
added combat log to help you gauge the output of cards and Modules
added option to show Enemy stats in Enemy draft window
hovering the deck list will now highlight cards in the collection (if open)
added tags to Enhancement drafts to indicate which tags will be added
random A.C.E. button won't roll the already selected one anymore
added warning before entering combat with inactive One-Punch A.C.E. effect
added some missing card highlights when hovering certain Modules
Misc
all Modules now have original art (renamed a few)
all Enhancements now have original art
new special frames for Enhancements in drafts
added explosion animation when a Core breaks
added particle effect for legendary draft rolls
added some card-specific sound effects
added Elite enemy warning
"Strength" is now called "Power"
lots of UI and layout tweaks
lots of wording and naming improvements
lots of minor fixes
