Dear players,
It has now been about a week since our last series of frequent small patch updates.
During this time, we did not release daily patches like before because we were simultaneously working on several deeper and larger-scale system reworks.
Most of this work has now been completed and officially released.
This update mainly focuses on:
Equipment system rework
Power system rework
UI experience upgrades
Scene structure and loading flow optimization
Equipment System Rework
We completely redesigned the equipment system.
Each character now has independent equipment slots for:
Weapons
Headgear
Chest equipment
Foot equipment
At the same time, we added:
More than 60 different weapons and equipment pieces across multiple rarities and styles
The equipment system now directly participates in character growth and combat builds.
Power System Officially Added
We have officially added the new Power system.
Now:
Equipping gear
Replacing skills
Configuring combo setups
will all directly increase character Power.
At the same time:
Equipment slots now clearly display:
Which attributes each equipment slot can provide.
This makes build directions much easier to understand.
Inventory & Character UI Upgrade
This update heavily reworked:
Inventory UI
Character panel UI
In addition:
The inventory now includes a new right-click context menu system.
Players can directly perform actions such as:
Repair
Exchange
Sell
and more through right-click interactions.
Overall usability and information readability have been significantly improved.
Scene & Loading Flow Optimization
We reorganized parts of the scene structure and loading logic.
Now:
Entering and exiting indoor areas will no longer trigger separate loading screens.
Exploration flow should now feel much smoother and more seamless.
Equipment & Loot System Adjustments
To support the new equipment system, we also adjusted overall loot generation logic:
The drop ratio between normal items and equipment is now approximately 9:1
Rough and Common quality equipment can now occasionally be discovered directly during exploration
Successfully repairing repairable items will now always produce a weapon or equipment item
Weapons and equipment are now treated as officially rare resources
At the same time:
The exchange system has also been reworked:
Exchanging items of the same category will always produce results from the same category
Mixed-category exchanges will produce mixed results
About Save Compatibility
Because this update involved deeper underlying system reworks:
We upgraded the game save version format.
As a result:
New versions of the game can no longer directly load old save files.
Players who wish to continue using older saves can:
Go to:
Steam → Properties → Game Versions & Betas
and roll back to the matching historical version.
Other Improvements
Improved some Chapter 4 quest text for Liu Bei and Guan Yu
Fixed a series of:
Minor bugs
Terrain issues
Camera issues
Current Rework Progress
At this point:
The equipment system rework
The power system rework
have both been largely completed.
Over the next week, development focus will continue shifting toward:
UI Presentation & Feedback Layer Improvements
Including:
UI animations and dynamic feedback
More impactful combat feedback
Clearer gameplay prompts
Stronger progression presentation
A more unified visual experience overall
The overall rework process is still progressing according to plan.
We will continue maintaining the current update pace while refining the overall gameplay experience.
