Dear players,

Since the Steam Summer Sale began, we haven't slowed down our update pace.

Development on the overall reconstruction of Jimo Theater: Three Kingdoms is still moving forward, and we're steadily working toward the Enhanced Edition.

At this stage, our focus has gradually shifted from fixing core issues to improving:

  • Overall presentation quality

  • UI experience

  • Scene polish

  • Gameplay details and immersion

This update includes the following improvements:

Story & Presentation Improvements

  • Added new pre-battle story dialogue before the final battle.

  • Updated the pre-battle character models for Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei. All three now appear in full armor before the battle.

  • Fixed NPCs facing the wrong direction during conversations.

  • Fixed an issue where characters would not turn toward the player during dialogue.

  • Adjusted Lu Sheng's position in the Training Ground.

  • Relocated the County Commander's event so it now takes place closer to the center of the military camp.

UI & Interaction Improvements

  • Reworked the main menu UI with a cleaner and more balanced layout.

  • Redesigned the Skill interface and added equipment status indicators.

  • Added visual feedback when loading save files.

  • Added an animated logo to the main menu.

  • Fixed an issue where the quest tracking checkbox could become partially obscured.

Ending & Statistics Improvements

  • Fixed incorrect values appearing on the ending statistics screen.

  • Added the highest Dungeon Challenge floor reached to the ending statistics.

Scene & Visual Improvements

  • Added idle animations for various scene NPCs.

  • Added additional guard NPCs to the Training Ground.

  • Fixed NPCs that were missing idle animations.

  • Fixed breathing animations for animals.

  • Fixed multiple clipping issues involving equipment and scene objects.

These changes further improve the atmosphere and liveliness of towns and other environments.

Combat & Gameplay Adjustments

  • Updated the final attack animation of the combo skill"Unexpected Strike."

System Fixes

  • Fixed a variety of save-related issues.

  • Fixed missing walls, duplicate database entries, and other environment issues.

  • Fixed cases where characters could become stuck while moving.

  • Improved several UI colors and Tips descriptions.

  • Fixed various gameplay flow and presentation issues.

  • Fixed a rare issue where characters could occasionally teleport instead of playing their jump animation during combat.

Current Development Progress

Work on the Enhanced Edition continues according to plan.

Over the coming weeks, we'll continue focusing on:

  • Further UI iteration

  • Stronger combat feedback

  • Higher-quality presentation

  • Improved environmental immersion

  • Better player interaction and responsiveness

Our goal has never changed:

To turn Jimo Theater: Three Kingdoms into a game that we're truly proud of—and one that we'd confidently recommend to every player.

Thank you for your continued support, feedback, and patience.

Every suggestion you've shared has helped shape the game into what it is today, and will continue guiding it toward an even better Enhanced Edition.
