fixedMajor Bug FixesThere have been some major bug fixes regarding the multiplayer. The most notable one was that only the host (the person who created the game) was able to see items, while the other players were not able to see them. Also, when hovering over an item that has been dropped by other players, the item preview would sometimes bug out and not work properly for a while. There were also some synchronization problems that caused the Radio Wall to be visible only to the host.
changedThe MazeOne of the major issues was that the maze was too big and thus resulting into the players wandering in the maze for long periods of the time without actually finding anything. Aiming to fix this issue, the size of the maze has been reduced by 25%. This may result in spawning in the void where previously there has been a portion of the maze in older saves. When this happens, the game will recognize it and teleport the player back to the starting point.
addedCheat MenuA new "Structures" tab has been added to the cheat menu. This now allows the player to teleport to any particular structure or feature of the maze without having to actually find it.
changedEngine UpgradesThe Maze Project utilized an older LTS version of the Unity Engine. With this update, the engine is upgraded from the older version 2022.3.2f1 to the most recent LTS version 2022.3.22f1. This should improve the performance a little bit and fix some small bugs. There is also now HDR support for displays that have the capability to run it.
addedChangelogAdded new “Structures” tab to the cheat menu.

Major Bug Fixes

There have been some major bug fixes regarding the multiplayer.

Improvements

The Maze

One of the major issues was that the maze was too big and thus resulting into the players wandering in the maze for long periods of the time without actually finding anything. Aiming to fix this issue, the size of the maze has been reduced by 25%. This may result in spawning in the void where previously there has been a portion of the maze in older saves. When this happens, the game will recognize it and teleport the player back to the starting point.

Cheat Menu

A new "Structures" tab has been added to the cheat menu. This now allows the player to teleport to any particular structure or feature of the maze without having to actually find it.

Engine Upgrades

The Maze Project utilized an older LTS version of the Unity Engine. With this update, the engine is upgraded from the older version 2022.3.2f1 to the most recent LTS version 2022.3.22f1. This should improve the performance a little bit and fix some small bugs. There is also now HDR support for displays that have the capability to run it.

Known Issue

There is a known issue since the 0.1.4 version that results in some players only seeing the bottom left portion of their screens. Currently, I haven't been able to find a way to reproduce this issue. If this issue affects you, I suggest reverting back to the 0.1.3 version of the game. Right click the game and go to Properties >> Betas and pick the legacy version 0.1.3.
