The Last Night: Zombie Attack changes
🧟 The Last Night: Zombie Attack – The Rebirth Update (0.1.000)
Survival just got a massive facelift. This isn't just a patch; it’s a total overhaul of the game you know. We’ve heard your feedback, scrapped the old foundation, and rebuilt The Last Night:Zombie Attack from the ground up to deliver the definitive zombie slaughtering experience.
⚙️ Engine & Technical Overhaul
Total Engine Migration: Rebuilt from the ground up for better stability and modern hardware support.
- Dynamic Lighting SystemNotice the warm orange glows against the cold stone walls. The new engine handles light bounce and shadows much more realistically.
Horde Optimization: We can now render significantly more zombies on screen (check out Level 6!) without your PC breaking a sweat.
🗺️ The Gauntlet: Level Updates
Every level has been ported to the new engine and polished for a gritier look:
Level 1: The Dark Cells – Tight corners and low visibility. Watch your back.
- Level 2The Warden's Watch – Improved line-of-sight for tactical retreats.
- Level 3Stone-Cold Corridors – High-resolution stone textures and improved collision.
Level 4: The Echoing Chaimber – Audio overhaul to make every footstep count.
Level 5: The Abandoned Maze – Redesigned pathfinding to keep the undead on your tail.
- Level 6The Mystery Vault – Prepare for the massive horde. The new engine's stress test level.
Level 7: [REDACTED] – Currently Under Progress. We’re building something special here.
🎨 Design & Gameplay
Visual Uniformity: All levels now share a cohesive, dark, and damp dungeon aesthetic.
Improved Zombie AI: The undead now navigate the "Stone-Cold Corridors" and the "Abandoned Maze" with much more aggression.
Clean HUD: A minimalist interface so you can focus on the stone walls and the blood on them.

| Systems | Replaced the old save system with a more reliable cloud-sync version. |
Known Bugs.
Options menu - unfortunately due to our big deadline the options menu doesnt work fully yet as its still under development, hopefully in the next update the options menu should be fixed and working.
