I’ve been hard at work refining the 3D character models and pairing them with their voice acting. On top of that, I am getting the broader game soundscapes dialed in. Heavy machinery and intense combat need punchy, immersive audio, and hooking up all those sound effects in the engine is finally making the world feel tangible and alive.
addedMission Briefings & Radio Chatter To really sell the tactical atmosphere, I’ve been focusing heavily on the comms. I am currently making and implementing the mission briefing voices and radio chatter. Hearing those tactical updates and static-filled communications play out before a drop adds a massive layer of immersion to the campaign missions.

  1. A Minor Cinematic Setback (and a Secret...) Game development is a constant learning process. Recently, I ran into a minor copyright snag with some of the third-party effects I used in the opening cinematics. Because I wasn't cleared to use those specific effects in a commercial release, I had to roll up my sleeves and remake those sequences from scratch.
