v1.0.5 is here! This update brings two big new changes: The Daily Challenge and The Book of Champions.
THE DAILY CHALLENGE
The Daily Challenge is a brand-new game mode. Each Daily Challenge adds a twist to your adventure: dive into the dungeon with a special scenario and a unique curse. The Daily Challenge refreshes each day at 4:00am UTC.
THE BOOK OF CHAMPIONS
Curious what characters lurk in the depths? The Book of Champions shows all the characters that can be found at Campfires in-game!
NEW CHARACTERS
With this update, we've added two powerful Poison-based units.
Venomancer. Venomancer is a powerful poison-based character, capable of keeping multiple enemies under control.
The Devourer. The Devourer has the highest health of any character so-far. While this elemental cube doesn't have its own attack, it can summon Poisonous Slimes to attack for it.
ABADDON UPDATES
We've made significant changes to Abaddon in this update:
Greed. Abaddon's Greed form (summoning four golden spheres) will no longer occur on New Game-.
Pride. Abaddon's Pride form (setting the highest health enemy to 1) will no longer occur on New Game- or New Game.
Unlocking higher difficulties requires that you now defeat Abaddon.
Developer Note: our original intention was that most runs would be defeated by Abaddon and that the success of a run would be measured by how long you survived. However, our view on this has been evolving - thanks in large part to the wonderful feedback we've received. For this reason, we've made Abaddon easier on New Game- and New Game.
OTHER CHANGES
You can now cycle through a unit's inventory by right-clicking multiple times.
Veninic Simulae and Clypaen Simulae no longer target random enemies.
You can now disable unit animation (or bouncing) in settings.
Venina's Hex (poison artifact) will now only target enemy heroes if no other target is available.

BUG FIXES
When you pick up an item, only characters who can equip it are highlighted in green.
If you have a Multiclass unit, you now encounter items from all classes in stores.
Multiclass units can now be targeted by buffs that target specific classes.
