fixedfixed: bug where the game won't initiate combat after loading a game when monsters are in-front of the party (any direction), not allowing the party to engage the monsters or moving around. In such case, the game now initiates the battle automatically after loading the game (thanks @JimmyG)
fixedfixed: bug where changing the display mode to either 'fullscreen' or 'letterbox' on steam deck would cause a black screen and the game wouldn't start at all. Only 'windowed' mode is supported on steam deck. The game now locks the display mode (options are greyed out) under steam deck so it couldn't be changed by mistake, while enforcing 'windowed' display mode by default on steam deck (thanks @Claws, @damien.sinardet)
fixedfixed: bug where saving settings on 'Game Settings' page was failing and causing an error with 'A display resolution needs to be selected', although a display resolution was already selected
fixedfixed: bug where special keys of a particular variant could also open regular locks of the same variant, making the corresponding special door locks impossible to unlock (thanks @xzpchaser)
fixedfixed: bug where the progress steps for 'Elder Evils' main quest wasn't showing correctly in 'Quests' screen, after completing the 'Graveyard Wails' quest. Now this is fixed permanently on content but also dynamically on saves with the issue (thanks @Corwin)
fixedfixed: bug where a crash was caused when non-existent objects were attempted to be shown on the minimap or local map (thanks @Kim Hviid)

  • fixedbug where click the cancel/ESC key during resting at a tavern was causing leaving the party 'disabled', not able to battle monsters and a few other symptoms. Now not only cancel/ESC key works as intented but also added a 'Cancel' button on top of tavern resting cutscene, similar to 'cancel' when resting outside (thanks @danielkg, @Gary Webb)
  • added: 'show fps' checkbox on display settings to show the current fps during gameplay. This should make performance issues like slowdowns easier to track down (thanks @JimmyG, @jseb)

  • addedtemples and taverns are now open at all hours for improved accessibility and smoother gameplay flow (thanks @Contagium)
  • addedthe previous limit of 8 trainable skills per character has been removed; characters may now learn any number of skills, though this requires a lot more greater focus. Arrow buttons have been added under each skill on the 'Skills' screen to page through all learned skills, see more on RULEBOOK.pdf under updated '7.9. Capped number of skills' (thanks @Talemire, @Gary Webb, @crpgnut)
