v1.84 (2026-03-30)
fixed: bug where items provided and equipped through skills on character creation screen, couldn't be used together on game's start, example bow (2-handed) and another weapon. These items are now moved to inventory on game's start, more in RULEBOOK.pdf under '16. Starting equipment' (thanks @Guy)
fixed: bug where a character equipped with a single-handed weapon (i.e. a dagger) could equip a second single-handed weapon with having the 'Dual Wielder' feat, under certain criteria
fixed: bug where the game crashed if non-supported resolutions were provided upon initialisation, which could happen when the save.dat was copied between systems having different resolutions. This is now detected and it sets the largest resolution supported in such occurence (thanks @MАKЯØП, @durandin2000)
fixed: bug where the game was loading infinitely if a non-supported display mode was provided upon initialisation on steam deck, as only 'Windowed' display mode is supported there (thanks @squiggymay, @Shinxir)
- fixedbug where the 'Exhausted' condition was temporarily applied to characters when the party was already resting at a tavern or outside, although it was removed once the rest was completed (thanks @stefan4sozimnet)
- fixedbug where saving, quick-saving or creating a new save would cause issues with a door state on loading or real-time, if the door was opening / closing at the time of saving. Now a save, quick-save or creating a new save can't be performed in such occurence (thanks @stefan4sozimnet)
fixed: bug where saving game settings under 'Settings' page could create a save slot as well. Now, it only save settings and no game data
fixed: bug where sometimes the sum of active, solved and failed quests on 'Quests' page weren't amounting to 100% due to a percentage rounding issue (thanks @stefan4sozimnet)
- fixedbug where the 'Cult of Wizards, Hideout' iron key may be used in ordinary iron locks, preventing the access to 'Cult of Wizards, Hideout' dungeon, related to 'Infernal Matter' main quest. Now, if the loaded game fulfills a few requirements, it places a 'Cult of Wizards, Hideout' iron key automatically on inventory, assuming a free slot is available (thanks @tclok, @Sambal)
- fixedbug where the 'Water Control' iron key was not dropped by a certain goblin in 'Depths of Silkmoor', preventing the access to 'Water Control' door and the completion of dungeon, related to The Forgotten Well' side quest. Now, if the loaded game fulfills a few requirements, it places a 'Water Control' iron key automatically on inventory, assuming a free slot is available (thanks @mh.ringo)
- fixedbug where the game engine was using more CPU than intended, causing increased heat and less stable performance (thanks @jseb)
fixed: bug where the lighting fade-out on 'Character Creation' screen wasn't shown
fixed: bug where the 'Options' tab under 'Game Settings' page was rendering very slowly on linux / steam deck
added: crash handler is now supported on linux as well, providing absolute program addresses whenever a crash happens and using the same file pattern of windows
added 'Target: X' in spell description to show the relevant target for spells, for example 'Self, Character, Party' etc.
PS: if you're enjoying the game, consider leaving a Steam review - it really helps a lot
