The Battle for Vega changes
I’m still recovering from the flu, but last week I managed to make a few balance adjustments, fix several bugs, and most importantly play through the Story mode multiple times. At this point, I’m quite happy with how things feel.
What changed:
MK2 Autocannon It was too expensive, especially when players reach the first ship with a Class 2 hardpoint and don’t yet have enough credits to buy it. The price has been reduced 3000 → 1000, and the upgrade cost has been reduced by 70%.
Act 1 & Act 2 Directives A few directives were too difficult to complete (and in some cases nearly impossible), so they have now been adjusted.
Other than that, everything looks solid. Honestly, I’m a bit surprised by how smoothly things are holding together.
As for the release estimate—getting sick really threw my schedule off. This week I plan to replay Story mode once more and begin testing Arcade mode. If everything goes smoothly, the demo might be ready in about two weeks … hopefully!
