Good news for TEKO

I'm happy to announce that I've finally revamped some elements of the Steam Store Page for TEKO. I've wanted to do this for a long time, and I finally managed to do it.

changedI'm happy to announce that I've finally revamped some elements of the Steam Store Page for TEKO . I've wanted to do this for a long time, and I finally managed to do it. I changed everything, from the trailer to the cover image and the description. Now everything looks prettier and better represents the game in its current state.
addedI have a lot of plans for the game . I'll make some of them a reality, others will depend on the motivation people give me. If I see that more and more people like the game, I plan to put in more effort. During all these years of development, I NEVER relied on feedback or public approval, but now more than ever, I think making extreme new changes will only be worth it if I get a larger player base.
addedTranslation: I'll be completely honest, I don't have money, much less to pay for localizations. My plan is the following: find people who want to collaborate for free on localization, then run all the game's text through an automatic translator, and have the volunteers just fix the mistakes instead of doing every single line one by one; I'd just need quality and coherence control. This is the best way for me to do things. But I absolutely need native speakers for each language. I'm not going to rely solely on a machine to translate everything; I mandatorily want at least one person to manually review each language. If at any point someone is interested in helping me out for free, you can let me know, and we can implement a new translation. We already have the English and Spanish text complete, now I want to expand specifically to ALL LANGUAGES, no matter which one.
changedShop item ban mechanic: this is similar to the pre-ban system, but instead of before the run, it's during it. And it'll only affect items on sale, not other elements like packs. It will serve to block items from showing up when you reroll. It'll be incredibly important for the game's balance.
changedBalance: I have some things planned for balance, like changing the rarity of cards, or customizing the difficulty more for each Pocket.
addedContent: I want to add extreme mechanics that change the whole game, especially with Pockets. I have too many good ideas, and when I say too many I mean that implementing all this content would mean expanding TEKO's gameplay by more than 1000 extra hours. It is, without exaggerating, insane. Not just the pocket ideas (the game's core mechanic), but cards too. I can start working on this whenever I want, since everything is written down and planned, but I can't jump into the void and start a new streak of new content without the backing of a solid community. Therefore, I prefer to take a break from development to focus my efforts on increasing the amount of people playing TEKO, so I can take big steps later. I'M WILLING TO SUPPORT THE GAME FOR MONTHS OR YEARS . Never doubt that.

Some of the changes I have in mind for upcoming versions are:

  • Control: I'd like the game to support any kind of input. Currently, you can only play with a mouse, but in the future, I'd like it to be 100% playable with: just a keyboard, PlayStation/Xbox controllers, Steam Deck, etc.

I just added 2 new achievements to Steam (the 2 new unlocked mechanics, added in version 9.0).

I just updated the whole website, especially the Wiki, I recommend you go in and see what's there, plus I improved the tierlist. I had a lot of fun doing this.

Don't forget to join the Discord server, you can ask me any questions or give any kind of feedback or idea.

Don't forget that you can support me on Patreon. I'll soon upload some surprise content there, even some FREE POSTS! (yes, you can follow me for free).

Please, consider leaving a Review on TEKO's Store Page, it would help me a lot. The game's visibility truly depends on this.
