New Workforce Management System

The biggest addition in this update is the new workforce management system.

Improvements and production buildings now require workers to operate at full efficiency. Population is no longer just an abstract number — you now decide where your limited workforce should be assigned.

Do you send more people to gather wood? Boost weapon production at the smithy? Or keep your crafting districts running before winter arrives?

These decisions now directly affect your economy.

Workers can be reassigned through the Economy Overview window, where you can clearly see:

  • how many workers are available

  • where they are currently assigned

  • which improvements or buildings are idle

  • where production is running efficiently

This adds more strategic depth while keeping management clear and convenient.

More Life on the Map

We also improved the visual representation of your economy.

You can now see:

  • workers on improvements

  • active district construction sites

  • carts traveling between resource nodes and settlements

These additions help the settlement feel more alive and make economic activity easier to read.

New General Orders

Two new battle orders have been added:

  • Hidden Reserves

  • Flanking Maneuver

These add more tactical variety and give generals more personality during combat.

Food Supply Wagons for Armies

Field armies now rely on their own food supplies.

Supply capacity depends on army size, and food can be transferred manually through the army management window.

This makes long campaigns more meaningful — you now need to think not only about military strength, but also logistics.

Smoother Settlement Progression

We also adjusted settlement progression so population growth and territorial expansion feel more gradual and predictable.

This makes long-term planning more important and turns expansion into a more strategic decision.

Additional Improvements

This update also includes:

  • improvements to the Economy Overview

  • UI polish

  • localization updates

  • bug fixes and general quality improvements

Thank you to everyone playing the demo and sharing feedback.

Your feedback continues to shape Tartaria’s development.
