♟️ 1. The New Assistant Manager Tactics Center (The Strategy Hub)

The old, simplistic On/Off toggle for the Assistant Manager is history. From now on, you will enter a mystical, beautifully dark-themed Tactics Center powered by a complex background matrix.

  • Full Localization (DE/EN): The entire hub switches seamlessly and cleanly based on your selected game language.

  • Strategic Separation: Your Team Tactics in the main menu (how your team acts on the pitch) and the Assistant Manager's Selection Tactics (the criteria he uses to line up players for you) are now completely separate.

  • Three Detailed Description Boxes: For each of your choices (Formation, Tactical Focus, Squad Focus), the system displays an explicit explanation on the left showing exactly how your decisions impact the team.

  • Live Analysis Charts (FM-Style): On the right side of the window, dynamic bar and structural charts calculate your squad data in real time with every single click:

    • Ø Strength per Position: An animated bar chart visually breaks down your starting XI's average strength across Goalkeeper (GK), Defense (DEF), Midfield (MID), and Attack (ST).

    • Age Structure: An elegant, three-color stacked bar chart shows you within seconds how young your squad is—divided into U23, 24–29, and 30+ including percentage readouts.

    • Expected Values (xG, Defense & Energy): Instantly see how dangerous your playstyle is upfront (Offensive xG), how fragile your defense remains (Defensive Strength), and how severely your players wear down physically (Energy Consumption).

  • Smart Criteria & Synergies: The Assistant Manager calculates live. If you choose a "Defensive" approach, he will prioritize a "Rock in Defense" (Fels in der Brandung) over a "Playmaker" (Spielmacher), even if the playmaker has a slightly higher overall strength! Furthermore, he strictly respects your focus (e.g., Rotation rests players under 50% fitness, Youth Focus forces up to 4 prospects into the starting XI).

  • Real Goal Assignment in Live Events: When you actively intervene and a goal is scored, the system selects one of your active players on the pitch (prioritizing attackers). 📈 3. Player Statistics, Form Rework & Red Cards

Clicking on a player still opens the familiar skill tree on the left—but on the right side, a brand-new, sleek Player Statistics Datasheet now takes center stage.

  • Historical Performance Tracker: Track your players' full season metrics, including goals, assists, yellow cards, red cards, and their live energy capacity.

  • Red Cards (Suspensions): Fouls have real consequences. Players can now be sent off during live matches or regular simulations. They will be highlighted in bright red as"Suspended" (Gesperrt) in the UI and are banned for exactly one matchday.

  • Stat-Driven Form Calculation for AttackersThe old, random form system has been completely reworked for offensive players. Strikers and midfielders now draw their form value directly from their actual scoring contributions ! Scoring a goal in recent matches provides a massive form boost, while lengthy goal droughts cause their form to drop. (Goalkeepers and defenders retain their fair, results-and-defense-based evaluation system).

🎲 4. The Dynamic Transfer Market & Contract Promises

Players no longer transfer simply for money. You must convince and lure them with assurances and promises!

  • The Promise HUD: Roll the dice on the left, select your contract promises on the right. Every promise massively spikes your signing success probability, but triggers a Selling Lock: players with active promises cannot be sold until the end of the season to completely prevent cheating!

  • The 4 Promises & Their Risks (Scaled by Market Value):

    • Starting XI Guarantee (+20% Success): The player must start at least 12 matches in your starting lineup.

    • Goal Bonus (+10% / +5% Success)Every goal scored by the player costs you extra cash (Only available for Attack/Midfield).
    • Promotion Promise (+30% Success): You promise to secure promotion or win the league title (League 1) by the end of the year.

    • Cup Victory (+40% Success): You guarantee lifting the domestic cup. Breaking this promise will bleed your finances, triggering a heavy fine worth 80% of the player's total market value.

  • Dual 8-Sided Dice (2d8): Because promises artificially boost your signing capabilities, you will now roll two 8-sided dice instead of two 6-sided dice, perfectly balancing the baseline negotiation difficulty.

  • Visual Status Emoji: All players with active contract promises will display an unmistakable contract emoji (📋, ⚽, 🏆) next to their names under "My Team". Their real-time progress (e.g., 10 out of 12 matches started) can be tracked live in the player's statistics tab.

📂 5. Financial Balancing & AI Intelligence (Season End)

We have made deep adjustments under the hood to completely eradicate frustration and ensure a much fairer game environment:

  • Increased Budgets & Expanded Market: Financial payouts for match wins, draws, and defeats have been noticeably bumped. Furthermore, the transfer market now rolls out 30 instead of 20 players, with vastly superior generation rates for absolute superstars and club legends!

  • AI Transfer Clearance

    Previously, you could not buy players from AI teams if their minimum squad size was compromised. Now, you are free to poach almost any AI player !

    The engine dynamically handles this

    the exact second a purchase goes through, the system generates an amateur replacement player on that position for the AI team, ensuring their tactical lineups never collapse.

  • Smart AI Youth & Squad Management: At the end of every season, the AI now acts strategically. It analyzes its roster, finds the position with the absolute lowest amount of players, and generates its seasonal reinforcement exactly there. (In case of a tie, a fair random dice roll selects the position).

  • Clean Player Names: Internal developmental title tags like [c](Talent)[/c], [c](Star)[/c], or [c](Verstärkung)[/c] are no longer welded onto a player's last name. They are now processed entirely invisibly inside the background datasheet, keeping matchday live ticker names completely clean and immersive!

🛠️ 6. Critical Bugfixes & Quality of Life

  • Skill Tree Prerequisites Fixed: A logic flaw in the skill tree previously allowed advanced tiers to be purchased without fully owning the preceding levels. Moving forward, Tier 3 strictly requires both Tier 1 and Tier 2 to be unlocked.

  • Tactics Spamming Glitch PatchedFixed an issue in the "Overview" tab where clicking the same tactical mentality button (e.g., "Offensive") multiple times in a row artificially glitched and altered your team's total average strength. The calculation is now safely locked.
  • Detailed Attribute Hover UI

    Hovering your cursor over a player's strength rating now opens an elegant breakdown tooltip.

    You will see the exact values for

    Base Strength, Form Bonus, Synergy Bonus, Energy Malus , and the final calculated Total Strength .

  • Promotion Penalty Flaw FixedThe board previously penalized managers for a broken promotion promise if they finished 2nd and moved up via direct promotion (as the code strictly checked for 1st place). This has been completely corrected: Finishing 1st or 2nd in Leagues 2 and 3 now officially counts as a successful promotion!
  • Cup Promise Evaluation Timing Fixed: A sequential oversight evaluated cup contract promises before the active season achievements were recorded into memory, leading to false penalties despite winning the final. The check now evaluates reliably against your actual club trophies!

  • Red Contract Penalty Pop-Ups: Breaking a promise at the end of the year will no longer quietly deduct funds from your account. An unmissable, red-and-gold Contract Penalty Pop-Up will appear, detailing exactly which player is demanding compensation—fully localized in English and German!

  • Bulletproof POTY Saving: Your Player of the Year history is now safely serialized directly into your local [c]savegame.json[/c] file. Saving your game, quitting, and hitting "Continue" from the main menu will preserve your decades-long Hall of Fame flawlessly!

Moving forward, we will hotfix any bugs that might pop up and are already working on future milestones, including deeper tactical influence via the Assistant Manager, sponsorship systems, more random events, position-specific passive skills, and a mode where you can receive managerial contract offers from other clubs—all of which will be added progressively over time!
