changedNew Archetype Mechanics & Dynamic Badges💰 Tycoon (Gold): Throw money around – but smartly! You now pay a tax on the cash hoarded in your bank account, but receive sponsorships based on your squad's market value. This forces you to actively invest in your team rather than just stockpiling cash. The badge shows your weekly net profit/loss.
changedNew Archetype Mechanics & Dynamic Badges🏋️ Taskmaster (Blue): Ride the wave. Every consecutive win increases the form stack of all players by +1 (up to a max of +5). But beware: A defeat instantly breaks the stack and gives -2 form. Your current win streak is always visible on the badge.
changedNew Archetype Mechanics & Dynamic Badges💀 Hardcore (Red): Expect the unexpected. Every week, there is a 35% chance of a "Chaos Event" (spontaneous injury, form drop, fine, tactic ban, or fitness collapse). The badge counts the events you've survived this season.
addedNew Archetype Mechanics & Dynamic Badges📋 Standard (Purple): Focus on the Mentor. You can now select a mentor player by clicking on the badge. This player receives +35% XP per match, giving you direct control over your development priorities.

Here are the complete patch notes:

New Archetype Mechanics & Dynamic Badges

Archetypes are no longer just passive bonuses. Each archetype now features its own colored badge that updates weekly and introduces completely new mechanics:

  • 💰 Tycoon (Gold): Throw money around – but smartly! You now pay a tax on the cash hoarded in your bank account, but receive sponsorships based on your squad's market value. This forces you to actively invest in your team rather than just stockpiling cash. The badge shows your weekly net profit/loss.

  • 🐉 Underdog (Orange): David vs. Goliath. Wins against stronger teams grant immediate bonus money (€8,000 per strength point difference). If you are 10 points weaker and win, you get a massive +€80,000!

  • 🏋️ Taskmaster (Blue): Ride the wave. Every consecutive win increases the form stack of all players by +1 (up to a max of +5). But beware: A defeat instantly breaks the stack and gives -2 form. Your current win streak is always visible on the badge.

  • 💀 Hardcore (Red): Expect the unexpected. Every week, there is a 35% chance of a "Chaos Event" (spontaneous injury, form drop, fine, tactic ban, or fitness collapse). The badge counts the events you've survived this season.

  • 🌱 Youth Guru (Cyan): Focus on the future. All U23 players now receive a flat +15% XP per match. The badge always displays your current number of youth talents.

  • 📋 Standard (Purple): Focus on the Mentor. You can now select a mentor player by clicking on the badge. This player receives +35% XP per match, giving you direct control over your development priorities.

Balancing: Realistic Potentials & AI Inflation

We've heavily tweaked the balancing so that not every second player turns into a world-class star, keeping the leagues realistic in the long run.

  • Potential Redistribution: A 90+ potential is now extremely rare (approx. 1 in 15 players under 21). The system is now divided into three probability brackets:

    • Under 21: 60% normal talent (+5–15), 30% good (+15–22), only 10% true exceptional talent (+22–30).

    • 21–25: 70% normal (+3–10), 25% good (+10–18), 5% outstanding (+18–24).

    • Over 25: Maximum +8 potential (players over 29 no longer get potential gaps at all).

  • AI Inflation StoppedAI teams can no longer endlessly buy their way up to 99 strength. New transfers are now based on the team's average, and the cap is set at League Strength + 5.
  • AI Player Development: AI players who exceed the league cap (League 1: 82, League 2: 72, League 3: 62) now only have a 15% chance to level up further. Below that, they develop normally.

  • More Realistic Game Start: League 1 stars now start capped at 88 strength (previously 95). Absolute world-class players (85+) now only appear with a 20% probability when the starting league is generated.

Economy & XP

  • Faster LevelingXP efficiency has been increased by ~13%. The base XP required for level-ups has been lowered (from 1200 + Lvl×250 to 1050 + Lvl×230), making progression noticeably, but not dramatically, faster.
  • Market Values in Lower Leagues: Players below 50 strength now have a soft minimum price (€20k + Strength × €1.2k). A strength 40 player now costs at least ~€68k (up from ~€51k). The lower leagues will now feel financially a bit more challenging.

Bugfixes & Text Adjustments

  • Tycoon Formula Fixed: The explanation popup now displays the correct logic (tax on bank balance = hoarding penalized; sponsorship on squad value = investing rewarded).

  • Translations & Placeholders:

    • Fixed the missing [c]ARCH_YOUTH_COUNT[/c] placeholder. The Youth badge now correctly displays "X Talents".

    • Added missing English translations for the Assistant Manager (e.g., "No Poacher", "Stronger Playmaker").

  • Youth Guru Clarification: The UI now clearly explains that all U23 players receive the XP bonus and that the number on the badge is just for your overview.

Have fun with the new mechanics! Feel free to leave us feedback in the forums on how the new archetypes play for you.
