New: The Weekly Newspaper (Week 16)
To immerse you deeper into the world of your club and league, we have introduced an authentic football newspaper!
Release Timing: Appears automatically once per season at the beginning of Week 16 (the first league week right after the cup final).
Classic Look: Authentic newspaper style featuring a yellow-beige vintage background and classic print typography.
Issue Contents:
🏆 Cup Winner: A recap of the big final and the newly crowned champion.
📊 League Standings: A quick overview of the leaders and underdogs across all three leagues.
⭐ Top Performers: Who is the top goalscorer? Who has provided the most assists? Complete with seasonal stats.
🌱 Talent Radar: A spotlight on youngsters with the highest potential gap (current rating vs. potential).
🔄 Transfer Ticker: A summary of the most notable real AI transfers of the season.
🗞️ Rumors & Gossip: Procedurally generated transfer rumors surrounding First Division teams.
Realism Update: Squads & Match Engine
We have adjusted the inner workings of [c]GameManager[/c] and [c]MatchEngine[/c] to make leagues and matches much more dynamic and realistic.
The "Superstar Effect" & AI Squads ([c]GameManager.cs — FillLeague[/c])
Dynamic Strength Variance: Leagues are no longer completely homogeneous. Every team now receives a random team offset of ±8 points, creating clear favorites and underdogs.
Star Player System: First Division teams will now generate 1–2 genuine top-tier star players (Strength: [c]baseStrength[/c] +12 to +22 above the league average, capped at 95), preferably in midfield or attack. This creates impactful key players you need to watch out for! Second Division teams can optionally feature 1 smaller star (e.g., a former First Division veteran or a high-potential talent).
Realistic Squad Depth: The substitute bench of AI teams is now intentionally weaker than their starting XI.
- Aggressive AI Transfers ([c]GameManager.cs — SimulateAITransfers[/c])First Division teams no longer rely solely on the free agent market. There is now a 50% chance they will actively poach and buy out the best players from Second and Third Division teams. These major moves will directly hit the headlines in your new weekly newspaper!
Midfield Reform ([c]MatchEngine.cs[/c])
- Greater ImpactThe influence of the midfield on scoring goals has been drastically increased from 30% to 50% . A dominant midfield now truly decides matches!
- Playmaker BuffThe playmaker bonus has been increased from +0.15f to +0.25f , and now additionally grants +0.05f to the attack.
Elite Midfield Bonus: An absolute star player who rates at least 15 points above their own midfield's average now grants the team a massive extra boost of +0.12f (the classic game-changer effect).
- Increased PressureThe "Midfield Pressure Cap" has been raised from 30% to 40% .
Tactical Focus: Overhauled Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager can still automate squad selection for you, but now they do exactly what you tell them to. Both modes strictly respect your chosen formation (4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2, 5-3-2) and include fallback logic if a position cannot be fully filled:
Best XI (Focus on Strength)
Uncompromisingly puts the strongest players in each formation slot. Fitness is completely ignored here! A completely exhausted 85-rated striker will always be preferred over a fresh 70-rated striker.
This clarifies the difference to "Rotation"
Rotation actively rests tired players based on a fitness threshold, whereas Best XI only cares about raw strength.
- B-Team (Focus on Rest)Consistently fields the weakest available players matching the active formation—sorted by [c]GetEffectiveStrength()[/c] in ascending order (Goalkeeper -> Defense -> Midfield -> Attack). Your star players stay safely on the bench to fully recover.
Complete UI & Tutorial Rework
We have retired the small, unformatted text boxes in the bottom right corner. The entire Assistant and Tutorial system (including global events like Welcome, WinMajor, FirstBond, FirstModifier) shines in a brand-new design.
New Layout: A fullscreen-centered modal with an elegant, dark background overlay (78% transparency). Blue accent borders, a "COACH ASSISTANT" tag, large emojis, and bold titles per page make it highly readable.
Rich Text Support: Features inline styling support (, ) for colored highlights and bold text.
Modern Navigation: Animated progress dots at the bottom show your position (active page = wide and blue). Next / Back buttons improve accessibility (Back is hidden on page 1, and the final button reads "✓ Understood" instead of "Next").
Expanded Content: All tutorial topics have been heavily expanded and structured into dedicated pages:
Start (2 pages): Match objective, the 3 leagues and their strengths
Overview (3 pages): Overview UI, Tactics system (Rock-Paper-Scissors), Simulating/Live
Team (3 pages): Player stats, Bonds (Silver/Gold), Assistant Manager modes
LevelUp (3 pages): Leveling system, Skill tree paths & classes, passive effects
Transfer (3 pages): Market mechanics, all traits explained, shortlist & archetypes
Cup (2 pages): Cup importance & prize pool, rules & penalty shootouts
Event (1 page): Random events & consequences
Simulate (2 pages): Match log, Live Match breakdown
SeasonEnd (2 pages): Season flow, all archetypes explained
Bugfixes & Quality of Life (QoL)
- FixResolved an issue where skipping the Cup Final inside the LiveMatch view caused the victory pop-up to be skipped entirely. You can still skip the match, but it will now be processed, evaluated, and celebrated correctly.
Fix: If you win the Cup, your players will now properly receive the award and milestone"Cup Meister"(Cup Champion) in their [c]PlayerHistory[/c].
- FixFixed a localization bug with the Assistant Manager. Certain player classes weren't translated correctly (e.g., German terms like Knipser will now properly display as Poacher when the language is set to English).
- QoLThe player's Age has finally been added to the [c]PlayerRPGPopUp[/c], making it visible at a quick glance.
