Hello Managers! In this update, we completely overhauled one of the core progression mechanics: Difficulty. The old, linear Ascension system is gone. Instead, we are introducing a fully modular Modifier System that gives you total control over how you want to suffer. We’ve also tweaked the random events and squashed some important bugs!

addedInstead of a simple slider, you now have a new UI menu before starting a career, featuring an "Active" and "Inactive" box. You can mix and match your difficulty using 4 different parameters. Every Manager Archetype now tracks its modifier progression individually!

🔥 NEW CORE FEATURE: The Modifier System

The 4 new parameters:

  • Financial Difficulty (Level 1 - 5): Cuts deep into your match income, massively increases salaries, and makes transfers drastically more expensive (At Level 5, you lose 50% of match income while paying +75% in salaries!).

  • XP Reduction (Level 1 - 5): Your players learn slower (-5% up to -25% XP).

  • Injury Risk (Level 1 - 5): Exponentially increases the chance of player injuries (up to +32% at Level 5).

  • Special Parameter: KICK-OUT: The ultimate hardcore mode. The board will give you a dynamic goal each season (e.g., "Finish 8th or better" or "Win the Cup"). If you fail the challenge or go bankrupt, you are fired. Game Over! (Only unlocks once the other three parameters reach Level 2).

How to unlock them? If you start a career with at least 2 Modifier Points (or the Kick-Out) active, winning titles will grant you upgrades! Winning the Cup unlocks a new Level 1 parameter, while winning the League upgrades one of your currently active parameters to the next tier (Max. 2 unlocks per savegame).

🏆 ACHIEVEMENT OVERHAUL

With the old Ascension system gone, the achievements have been reworked. Each active parameter level counts as 1 point (Max 15 points total).

  • New Progression Line: Win League 1 with 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 15 points!

  • New "Final Boss" Achievements: * DARK SOULS SOCCER: Hardcore Archetype + 15 Points + League 1 Winner.

    • THE GOD MANAGER: Hardcore Archetype + 15 Points + The Double (League & Cup).

    • INFINITY MASTER: Hardcore Archetype + 15 Points + Kick-Out active + The Double!

🎲 EVENTS & BALANCING

  • Added several new random events to the game!

  • To prevent event fatigue, the cooldown for recently seen events has been increased from 5 to 15 weeks.

  • Dynamic Balancing: Event costs and financial rewards now scale better with your current team budget.

🐛 BUGFIXES

  • Assistant ManagerFixed a bug regarding the Assistant Manager's logic.
  • Cup Final UIFixed a display issue during the Cup Final where the live event log would always show the home team scoring, regardless of who actually scored.
  • "The Double" AchievementFixed a bug that prevented the "The Double" achievement from unlocking properly at the end of the season.
