Syndicate of Souls changes
New Features
New Retainer: Thrix, Hive Matriarch [Assassin]
- Gem system rework55 new gems, purchaseable with Glittering Shards
Glittering Shards are collected from towers, large monsters, cannon minions and ore mining
Ore mining nodes and gatherable mushrooms that reward permanent buffs have been added to the map (5V5 ONLY FOR TODAY)
Runes of Advance added, letting you teleport from base to lane
Attempting to buy an item you don't have enough gold for will now purchase the best components instead
You can now set an "autobuy" item by shift-clicking in the shop, which will be automatically (partially) purchased when leaving the base
Tower platings added, for now only reward Glittering Shards when destroyed (system will be expanded next patch)
Various new items added as replacements for scrolls
New talents added to replace the "scroll" talents
Balance Changes
All heroes now use mana as their resource [EXPERIMENTAL]
Mana costs and values reduced across the board
Synestra and al-rahim stuns replaced with silence
Rahim cc block duration significantly reduced
Coin items are now free when you have stacked coin
Weapon autoattack balance pass
Emonia Q, krieg F/R, synestra Q/W, xelv E/W nerfs/adjustments
Born commander boots reworked into a tier 3 support boot
Tolundir's now a starter tank item
- World tree shieldroot nerfed, branch buffed, both prices increased
Diminishing returns are now much stronger
Bug Fixes
fixed cooldown reset not working correctly
fixed rage resource bug
fixed shirai E VFX playing at wrong length
fixed ampwrecker not working on base towers
fixed thunderlord's mallet passive being removed prematurely
fixed canhitdead flag not loading (was loading canhitmidair instead)
fixed maxcooldown not being respected when reducing item cooldown
fixed damage numbers on 4k resolution
Technical
Unreal Engine updated to version 5.7
inventory system reworked (items/consumables/sockets)
basedata and stats system reworked
profanity filter made less strict
