Syndicate of Souls changes
Gameplay
New Retainer: Shirai, Keeper of the Endless Storm; A long-range Mage from Wa'an that requires precise control to unleash massive damage
Scrolls have been disabled for today's test to get a feeling on how big the impact on gameplay is
Resource Update:
Energy and Rage now both have a fixed pool of 100
The "Resource Regeneration" stat has been removed, all items now just provide "Resource" instead
Resource now increases your Maximum mana, or improves your Energy/Rage generation
Energy is no longer generated from basic attacks and random vessel spells, instead it generates over time (faster when out of combat)
The Energy costs of many spells have been adjusted accordingly
Combat duration has been increased 5 -> 8 seconds (rage decay starts later)
Mana now regenerates at a fixed base % of your maximum Mana
Emonia now uses Mana instead of Energy
UI
A new "additional spell bar" has been added to the UI, right above your main spells
Visuals will be finalized later if we decide to make this feature permanent
It shows all your active and consumable item spells (and additional spells in the future)
It is limited to 6 slots, in the future it will allow you to assign items by dragging them from your inventory
This will allow us to properly split the inventory again, in 6 items + 6 consumables
