Hi everyone! ๐ What's new today?
First of all, I've upgraded to Unity 6 ๐
There's not much media content yet โ I'm pretty swamped, but the moment I get a spare minute, I jump straight into working on it. So if I haven't posted in a while, don't worry โ development is moving forward! โจ
Good news: I've hit the 1,000 wishlists milestone! That's incredibly awesome โ a huge thank you to everyone who keeps adding the game to their wishlist! ๐
On the content side: I've already created a couple of creature models for the game ๐พ All that's left is to animate them and implement an AI behavior system for these creatures โ but that's the next big task.
The main focus over the past few weeks has been the magic system ๐ฎ It's one of the most complex mechanics to implement in this project, andโฆ I finally finished it โ
What I had to implement:
A dedicated graph system for UI display;
A custom shader for node connections;
A lightweight UILineRenderer component;
Drawing new UI elements for the graph-building interface.
I've attached a few GIFs below to give you an idea of how it will look (the visuals aren't final yet, this is just a preview!).
