Mutations Remix
The much more extreme mutations are here!
Full list:
Rift and Rift Armor Mutations were merged
Added Instincts mutations to remix the general playstyle (normal vs careful-style vs wild-style)
Every other mutation has become much more extreme and packed with effects
Mutations can only be swapped before 1st Level to prevent useless superpowers (can be changed per request)
New Mechanics
Annihilation: on reducing Hex via Antihex, on reducing Antihex via Hex, on overflowing Hex: Damage+Lifesteal+Energy because Hex+Antihex hybrid builds were boring before
- Invisibilitya lot of superpowers and mutations are now sources of it, which makes enemies close their eyes and not target you , enabling new slower pace playstyles outside of Antihex
Pain: now on-player-damaged effects can have multipliers from many different sources!
Superpowers Remix
A LOT of superpowers received additional crazy effects or just additional conditions when they become even stronger... there is now a superpower that collapses arena walls
Useless in a run superpowers are no longer offered, every superpower will depend on your previous superpower and mutation choices
Superpower pools introduced with different probabilities and an additional weapon-source-superpower selection before level 4 to prevent too many weapon-source-superpowers from making runs samey
Some superpowers were entirely remixed if they enabled AFK or were too similar to others
Added Annihilation, Invisibility, Pain and Melee Range dependencies and modifiers to many superpowers
VFX Changes
Completely reworked damage particles to look much more obvious and responsive
Spirit enemies now emit damage particles to be more obvious
Pseudo-projectiles emit nothing
Melee Range Indicator: a subtle shadow around the player
Blue-shifted arena background and text background to be more harmonious
New text colors to distinguish concepts a bit better
New trailers and screenshots will be uploaded ASAP
Other Changes
Bugfixes, rebalances and tweaks
Pseudo-projectiles can no longer be damaged or Hexed/Antihexed, only Pushed/Pulled
There is a lot to balance, so more small updates might be coming, depends
