Summa Expeditionis changes
Summa Expeditionis grows deeper, more personal, and more strategic. Update 0.4.1 introduces religion, morale systems, cultural identity, and major construction expansions that transform both your people and your settlements.
Your expedition is no longer just about survival — it’s about belief, belonging, and leadership.

Faith now shapes daily life and battlefield performance.
Full Religion System Added
Over 25 gods introduced
Craft wooden and clay idols to worship at altars
Tier-Based Altars
Build different altars depending on your settlement’s tier
Leave offerings to receive stat bonuses
Pantheon Integration
Gods followed by your people become part of the settlement
Your patron deity can grant blessings
Morale, culture, and comfort are now core survival pillars.
Units have Morale, Culture, and Comfort levels
These states grant perks when maintained
If any of them drop to zero, the unit suffers a Grievance:
Severe penalties
Risk of desertion

Every unit is an individual with history, beliefs, and strengths.
Trait System

3 personal traits
This creates meaningful variety and rewards careful, detailed management.
Weapon Mastery
Units improve their skill with weapons through use
Veterans become noticeably more effective in combat
Cultural Assimilation
Units from other cultures can have unique gods, origins, and traits
Assimilating locals is possible — but not always easy
Temporary Traits
Events and actions can grant temporary traits, adding dynamism to campaigns

Settlements gain conditional perks (system in development)
