🏛️ Religion & Morale System

Faith now shapes daily life and battlefield performance.

  • Full Religion System Added

    • Over 25 gods introduced

    • Craft wooden and clay idols to worship at altars

  • Tier-Based Altars

    • Build different altars depending on your settlement’s tier

    • Leave offerings to receive stat bonuses

  • Pantheon Integration

    • Gods followed by your people become part of the settlement

    • Your patron deity can grant blessings

Morale, culture, and comfort are now core survival pillars.

  • Units have Morale, Culture, and Comfort levels

  • These states grant perks when maintained

  • If any of them drop to zero, the unit suffers a Grievance:

    • Severe penalties

    • Risk of desertion

🧍 Units Now Have True Identity

Every unit is an individual with history, beliefs, and strengths.

Trait System

Units now have:

  • Culture

  • Chosen god

  • Origin

  • 3 personal traits

This creates meaningful variety and rewards careful, detailed management.

Weapon Mastery

  • Units improve their skill with weapons through use

  • Veterans become noticeably more effective in combat

Cultural Assimilation

  • Units from other cultures can have unique gods, origins, and traits

  • Assimilating locals is possible — but not always easy

Temporary Traits

  • Events and actions can grant temporary traits, adding dynamism to campaigns

🏘️ Settlement Identity & Development

Your settlement is now more than buildings — it has a character.

  • Settlements gain conditional perks (system in development)

  • Buildings now contribute to:

    • General comfort

    • General culture

    • Specific cultural influence

  • 4 settlement states can be managed from the vexillum

⚔️ Character Creation Expanded

You now define your leader with precision:

  • Choose god, origin, and personality

  • Shape your playstyle:

    • Weapon specialist

    • High carrying capacity

    • Lightning-fast explorer “like Mercury”

🏗️ Construction & Crafting Additions

Major expansion to building and utility systems:

  • Tier-4 ascending and descending walls to overcome elevation

  • Carpenter’s table

  • Potter’s table

  • Larger tool racks

  • New decorative objects

🛡️ New Faction: The Greeks

A new cultural force enters the world:

  • Unique Greek faction

  • Distinct armor and weapon sets

🎨 Interface & Customization

  • Contubernium icon customization

⚙️ Improvements & Fixes

  • Optimized several 3D models for better performance

  • Adjusted some colliders for fairer interactions
