To make sure that there are few to no regressions this time around, we spent quite some time iterating on this patch, and it should hopefully lead to a much more stable experience going forward. fixedSquashed bugsFixed a wrong warp taking you to later in the game when entering the door from the beach after starting a second new game without closing the game in-between.
fixedSquashed bugsFixed a possible softlock in the Nax05 puzzle, where you weren't able to place new items after getting it wrong a few times.

Squashed bugs

  • Dynamic lights now actually shine on the environment.

  • Fixed a wrong warp taking you to later in the game when entering the door from the beach after starting a second new game without closing the game in-between.

  • Fixed a possible softlock in the Nax05 puzzle, where you weren't able to place new items after getting it wrong a few times.

  • Found and fixed a case of repeat loading areas while the game was already loading crashing the game.

  • Found and fixed another case of softlocking your punch/swing ability.

  • Some music wasn't playing as it should when the game was loaded from checkpoints.

  • Tweaked colliders in the Quarantine area to reduce the risk of getting stuck.

  • Adjusted AI navigation in the Great Hall, making them unable to escape through the locked side doors.

  • Adjusted AI navigation in the large maze puzzle area, so that they cannot move through solid objects anymore.

  • Gamma setting wasn't being set properly when starting the game.

  • Hid the other floating phone in the hedonis cutscene.

  • Adjusted the movement shake in the feast ending.

Improvements

  • Adjusted the difficulty of the second maze puzzle, Feast path, by making the monster despawn in the five brightest lights in the area.

  • The blocking crowd in front of the door back to the beach have been tuned to make it easier getting past them.

  • Tweaked the distance some music in the forest area is heard.

  • Reduced the amount of objects in the forest, which should help a bit with general performance in the forest area.

  • Improved the vintage of the wine, making it drinkable.

  • Re-labeled the more colorful Beer to Cider.

  • Added a beat in the rites maze, to make it easier to find the way forward.

  • Added infinite boxes of Wine and Cider.

Caring about other people is one of the most important parts of a healthy society. End living less.
