Since the release of Strobophagia | Rave Horror we have been hard at work listening to and applying feedback about issues with the game, and now after these first days since release we have hunted down some of the worst offenders on our bug list. This is by no means it for our feedback based tweaks. Expect more and frequent patches in the coming weeks.

Patch 1.0.1 recap

In patch 1.0.1 we fixed lighting in some of the darkest areas, stopped a bunch of softlocks, made throwing while punching not cancel your ability to punch indefinitely, and reprimanded our raver AI for acting out against their developer overlords. We also added a brightness slider.

Patch 1.0.2.1035.1050

  • Fixed a cause of the phone dialogue system breaking when loading a checkpoint in certain scenarios.

  • Fixed regressions caused by patch 1.0.1 (text font issues, start screen transition, and performance stutter when saving the game).

  • Fixed reloading issues after ruins maze 1, guillotine path.

We hope that the phone dialogue system will act as it should now, but since the bug was a tough one to find, it would be a shame if it kept occurring for some people. Because of that, please report any bugs related to the phone breaking, since it is a tough bug to track down without steps to reproduce.
