addedI've completely rewritten this to make it more logical. Here is how the new system works starting today:
changedOther Parties: They now calculate a minimum "Price" to accept an offer.
changedPrice Formula: Threshold + (Bot's Current Budget / 2) (Threshold is 1 for Easy, and 5 for Normal/Hard)
changedOffer < Price: 0% chance (Auto-reject)

Fixes:

  • Fixed missing English localizations for the "Nationalist Dystopia" and "Great Migration" events.

The Alliance Rework: In the old system, AI bots were hard-coded to never accept an alliance if your vote share was lower than theirs. No matter how much money you offered, it was an automatic reject.

I've completely rewritten this to make it more logical. Here is how the new system works starting today:

  • The Leader: The party with the highest vote share will always auto-reject alliance offers.

  • Other Parties: They now calculate a minimum "Price" to accept an offer.

  • Price Formula: Threshold + (Bot's Current Budget / 2) (Threshold is 1 for Easy, and 5 for Normal/Hard)

  • Offer < Price: 0% chance (Auto-reject)

  • Offer >= Price: Base acceptance chance starts at 70%. Every extra million you offer adds +5% (up to 100%)

Quick Example (Normal Difficulty)

Target bot has 4 million in their budget.

Their price

5 (threshold) + 2 (half budget) = 7 million.

  • 6m offer: 0% chance

  • 7m offer: 70% chance

  • 8m offer: 75% chance

  • 10m offer: 85% chance

  • 13m offer: 100% chance (Guaranteed)

Thanks for the feedback!
