Statecraft: Corrupted Democracy changes
I've decided to move the release date of Statecraft from April 14 to May 26.
To be completely honest, the game just needs a little more time in the oven. The economy isn't perfectly balanced yet, and I want to make sure the final polish is exactly where it needs to be before you play it.
Also, watching you all during the recent playtest (March 21-28) was incredibly eye-opening. Based on how you played, I realized two major things need fixing:
Voting UI's is confusing: The current voting mechanism wasn't clear. I’m going to rework the UI and feedback loops so it makes perfect sense the moment you look at it.
- We need more actionsYou need more ways to scheme and strategize.. I'll be adding a bunch of new political actions to give you more freedom and depth.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined the playtest and helped me find these blind spots. This extra month will make a massive difference in the game's quality.
I look forward to your further feedback.
