Hey everyone!

Since we dropped the demo for Sporeborn Dark, we’ve been hard at work preparing and polishing the game. New dev log #13 consists of a significant number of improvements and bug fixes, such as new textures, animations, balance tweaks and more.

Big changes:

  • Added a bunch of new floor textures to make the levels look more interesting

  • Added a new monster: a spider that shoots tentacles

  • Added shotgun animations

  • Improved the reduction of visibility when fear increases

  • Polished up some of the character and monster animations

  • Improved the game’s balance

Smaller changes:

  • fixed disappearing cursor when the monster kills the character

  • fixed a bug with the game launch where sometimes the "Press any button" message didn’t appear, resulting in a black screen

  • the spider now pushes furniture with less ease

  • fixed monster revival issue after shotgun shot
